The front porch is great for an evening of gathering by the chiminea and fun times. The home is suited for 2 adults and 2 children (4 people max) or just a nice retreat for a couple's weekend and or vacation. 2 bedroom 1 bathroom . Other amenities are a large screen porch, fire pit, and a large yard for lawn games. The Yates cottage is great for couples, families, dogs, joggers, walkers, bikers, fishers and boaters. You will be welcomed with freshly-made beds, towels and a full kitchen with Keurig and Rachel Ray cookware.

The unit sleeps 4 – 5 and the property allows for parking trailered boats or RV’s.

Our waterfront paradise sits on a point on Queens Creek with a 180-degree view of the quarter-mile-wide estuary, just upriver from the Intracoastal Waterway and 5 miles from the ocean. We’ve rehabbed a 1959 fishing cottage, 2 bed, 2 bath surrounded by glass w/ kitchen and living facing the water.

This home is very close to Swansboro, NC, about 15 minutes from Emerald Isle Beach and about 20 minutes from Jacksonville, NC. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood providing a peaceful, tranquil environment, complete with a large fenced yard. A marina is less than one mile down the road and on the intercoastal waterway. The area is excellent for fishing and kayaking, and it has beautiful beaches for playing in the sand!
