I didn't write much on the review prompts because it just wasn't needed. Jessica is a great host and the place doesn't feel like a hotel in disguise, it felt like a great place to make new memories. We're grateful for the warm ones we left with.

I booked this trip for my husband’s birthday. It was centered around snowboarding and we were happy it was close to Killington, Pico and Stratton. The house itself was well thought out and there were instructions to everything which took the guesswork out of using the spaces. Would definitely stay again

Courtney’s A frame cabin was exactly what we’d been looking for. My girlfriend and I both work high stress jobs for our first anniversary wanted to unplug, relax, and just be together in a beautiful cabin. The Sauna was easy to use and ran incredibly well, the hot tub was clean and already warm for us when we arrived, the fireplace brought me back to my childhood (wood heat only home) and kept us cozy, and the decor maintained the charm of a 70’s cabin while still being clean, well kept, and modern (mid-cent). Courtney runs a beautiful cabin here, if you’re looking to escape to the lush forests of Vermont and enjoy some rustic charm, absolutely check this place out. Cheers!

The most incredible place. The cabin itself was stunning, spotlessly clean and was more well-appointed than your average air B&B. We particularly enjoyed the dining table/area (which comes complete with candles!) and barbecuing outside around the fire pit. The surroundings were incredible also, especially the view from the hot tub and patio/fire pit area. Lasse was extremely responsive and very helpful in letting us know where to go in the local area for various things. We were only here for two nights, and were definitely sad to leave. Thanks for having us!

The cabin was lovely! We went for a little weekend getaway with some friends and it is a great space for such an occasion. There is a surprising amount of space in and around the house and we didn't even use the three season porch. The hosts were also very responsive and easy to communicate with. Definitely a cute little home away from home!

Awesome place near Stratton and Mt snow. Beautiful surroundings and tranquil stream nearby. Wood burning hot tub worked really well. I started it and went to dinner for a couple hours and when I got back it was over 100 degrees.

We stayed at Apple Benton Farm in the Barn and it was everything we hoped for and more. The barn was beautifully decorated with charming rustic touches that made the space feel cozy and inviting. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The hot tub was amazing—clean, private, and ideal for stargazing at night. The views and surrounding land were absolutely phenomenal—peaceful, scenic, and exactly the escape we needed. Our host, Ben, was fantastic—he responded quickly to our messages, gave clear and thoughtful instructions, and really made the stay feel like a personal, human experience. It’s clear he takes pride in creating a welcoming and clean environment. We drove three hours just to stay here for a couple of nights, and it was completely worth it. We would absolutely stay at one of Ben’s places again, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! Comfortable, had everything we needed. The sauna was an incredible experience - great to use after hours of hiking! Hot tub worked well and was good temp. Area was quiet and peaceful with very little traffic. Would absolutely visit again!

The place was perfect for what we needed….a place sleep and relax intermittently with our dog. It’s a cabin and not the most luxurious accommodations but it was fitting for us. Would certainly use it again when the time arises—and it will.

Great spot, honestly it is bigger than the pictures convey. Got rained out all weekend but I imagine the view cant be beat on a clear day! No complaints at all, probably worth even a bit more than I paid

The cabin was perfect for a cozy weekend getaway! In fact, it was even more lovely in person than the photos. We did some lovely hiking in the area and visited nearby farms. Our dog loved the space and slept like a log after a day of hiking. On the day it rained, we had the best time staying inside, reading, playing games, and listening to music. There are clear instructions everywhere to help make sure everything is used properly. While it was too cold and rainy to make too much use of the outdoor amenities, we were able to easily grill. We hope to come back in the summer to make fire pits and swim in the nearby brook! Overall wonderful stay, it was everything we were looking for.

This was our 2nd time staying at Brian's place, the home is perfect for a larger group and has so many toys for the kids, they LOVED it! Everything is very clean, and the kitchen has all the pots/pans needed for cooking. In Feb there was so much snow we got to go sledding in the front yard, and a few from our group made the trip to Stratton for the day. We love going to Wilmington for coffee/lunch. Planning to be back again in 2026!

Monique and Jason’s A-Frame cabin exceeded our expectations! They thought of every little detail you would need in a home away from home. The decor was great, the kitchen was stocked with so many utensils and gadgets (I was not expecting to find a zester for my dinner recipe but it was there!) and the bath towels were amazingly oversized, which is a rare find! The A-Frame was the perfect spot for a girls weekend. We loved the record player (especially Alanis and Noah Kahan) and had a great time celebrating our dog Harley’s 9th birthday pawty there. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to stay again!

Wow! This cabin literally felt like a slice of heaven in the Green Mountains. While being close to town, and easy enough to find and access, we were secluded and nestled amongst the trees and a flowing creek. We felt safe and secure. The wifi was fast and we were able to make calls and send texts. We were thrilled to find a Vermont Country Store just ten minutes down the street, and would highly recommend going! Shaw's grocery store in Ludlow was also surprisingly good, and we enjoyed many unexpected finds. This is notable as many of the businesses in Ludlow appear to be seasonal, and you may end up cooking back at the cabin. This is thankfully easily accomplished as the kitchen is pretty large, with ample cabinet space and new stainless appliances. The cabin had a nice outdoor fire pit and indoor wood stove, which both made for a wonderful ambiance. Also, of note, the water out of the sink was delicious, and cold. No need to buy bottled water while you are staying. Thank you!

The only thing we’re bummed about is that we didn’t know about Riks place before this visit, because we won’t be staying anywhere else again! Such a relaxing weekend away surrounded by nature and beautiful artistry. Cozy beds, well stocked kitchen, and lots of outdoor exploring for us and our two small children. Rik was kind, helpful, and friendly and we can’t wait to come back.

Julian’s home felt like just like your own. Comfortable, clean, with all the amenities. We loved being able to have a fire in the fireplace to warm up after a cold day skiing. Kitchen had everything we needed, great laundry set up, the kids loved the shower and bunk beds. We’d love to stay again!

Stephanie’s cabin is a perfect secluded getaway in the middle of the woods. Nobody else uses the road the cabin is on, and it’s very quiet and peaceful there. The only noises you hear are the rustling of chipmunks surrounding the cabin, You might be visited by a gaggle of turkeys, they left some of their feathers at the front door. Other than that the cabin is also nice inside with basic amenities and electricity. Tv with some classic dvds and some board games. There is no insulation but two heaters if you don’t mind the cold. Overall a great getaway.

We especialy liked to follow the big rocks down to edge of the creek - Debbie suggested it!

Very cozy place and a super responsive host! Kim was very quick to solve any issues that came up and made sure we had a good experience!

This was my 2nd time staying here and it was just as great! This time it was during the winter when I really needed to rely on the woodstove for heat. That stove gets cranking after a good layer of hot coals are established. I have to say, though, the only thing I would love to see is a damper/flue on the stove. Without those them it causes a lot of smoke to come out into the cabin when adding wood/tending to the fire. I feel it would help control the level of heat and smoke that much better. Everything else was absolutely perfect. I can’t wait for my 3rd stay.

as always it was a totally awesome stay at the camp.the neighbors so friendly ( bella ) harold is the best i really appreciate harold he always stops in to check on us and see if we need anything.i will return to the camp agian i would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful spot. thank you harold ( butch )

House matches the listing exactly and in a great private location close to many ski areas. Ryan and Riley are very helpful and responsive!

I had the best time ever at Kimberly’s cabin. Needed a mental reset and this was the perfect place to get away. my dog enjoyed running around the giant field. The 360 degree view of the mountains and sky is amazing. I loved exploring all of the nearby villages. the little IGA in Cambridge had good, affordable food options. I had so much fun, I am definitely coming back.

Cabin was a cozy place for a weekend getaway to hit the slopes. 40 mins to Killington ski resort and 15-20 mins to rutland for some restaurants. Highly recommend!
