Riverwood Hideaway

This off-grid, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. The cabin itself is loaded with comfort. A full kitchen, propane refrigerator, solar powered lights and a gas fireplace/furnace offer the conveniences of home. There is an outhouse and firewood for the outdoor firepit. You will have to bring your own water for drinking, but we provide hand and dish washing water at the sink. We have coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices.

Yet since we're next to the Wisconsin Lake Superior Scenic Byway (Hwy 13), it's easy to get wherever you want to go!

Enjoy all the amenities we have ,such as, hot tub, canoes, fire pit, and more! Here you will have immediate access to ATV and snowmobile routes, fishing on a private lake, and trails for hiking or hunting. Also conveniently located approximately 15 minutes out side of Superior Wisconsin where you will have access to any needs or amenities along with more sites to see!

Books, games The Woodstove heats the cabin perfectly in the colder months. All wood provided. There is also a minisplit heat/ac unit.

Enjoy long days and sunsets at Corny Beach, a 10 min walk from the cabin along a nature trail. Visit Bayfield 20 min away or take in the quirky, small-town of Cornucopia and then come home and take a sauna in this peaceful forest! The cabin has an occupancy limit of 2 adults and one dog ($50 pet fee). A SUP board is stored near the beach for guests in summer.

We are an event center but do not have events or weddings during your stay. This cozy one-bedroom cottage is set against the tree line. In the morning, enjoy coffee on the private porch, go snowshoeing, hiking, fishing, or canoeing in and around Brule River State Forest in the afternoon, and watch a few movies in the evening. There is direct ATV trail access from your cabin but we ask that you do not ride around the property.
