We had an amazing stay at Caroline and Patrick's! Even though the weather wasn't great, there was so much for us and the kids to do! The pool was fantastic, basketball, tennis, etc- something for all of us. The house was spotless and we had everything we needed. The bed linen was so soft and the mattresses very comfortable. The indoor fire was also very special. We were so grateful for our stay, and can't wait to visit again! Simply can't recommend enough!

Absolutely beautiful property! Large and spacious. The outdoor space and views are top notch. The photos don't do this place justice! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again in a heartbeat!

Noreen met us on arrival and made is feel right at home. The cottage was clean and tidy and everything that we needed was provided for. We loved the location, a quiet and natural setting in the midst of the countryside. We would recommend it as a great place to stay.

James' house was perfect for us. It is a beautiful and peaceful location, close to town in Skibereen, but also close to Lough Hyne. Lough Hyne in the summer months has fantastic night skies with stars, and the water in the lake has bioluminescent plankton. There are night kayaking tours that are a wonderful experience. The house is spacious, clean, and modern. There is a large grassy yard and a nice area to sit outside. James took the time to be there when we arrived, he showed us around the house and explained how everything worked, and there was even a treat of delicious baked lemon cake waiting for us when we arrived.

This house definitely has to be one of the best locations for a property, down a quiet country lane with a private pier onto Lough Ree, it was breathtaking! Judith was so lovely to deal with and quick at responding to messages. They left us clear directions for using all of the items in the house and we had a lovely time. Perfect house to bring doggos and kids. We had our kayaks and SUPS to make use of the lake and were able to watch the sunset from the pier, a perfect weekend. We'll definitely be saving this house for future trips! Thanks so much Chris & Judith!

Thanks Patrick. We loved every minute of our stay in your beautiful spacious home in it's stunning setting. Was so nice to get away from the hustle & bustle and catch up with our pals with stunning scenery all around. We really enjoyed the kayaks, Ping Pong, archery & barbecuing in the garden. Hoping to return again :)

What a peaceful and beautiful place to stay. We had the best time and if in this area (which is stunning in general) we will be back HERE. There was even coffee, I couldn’t wish for more (as I didn’t know what kind of machine I didn’t buy in advance) and water in the fridge, clear and super friendly communication, lovely hosts, the view!! You can only stay and enjoy this place!

If you’re looking for peace, sheep, and postcard-perfect views — stop scrolling and book Gerald’s place immediately. Tucked away at the end of the road (literally), this little gem on the Ring of Kerry was pure magic. We had beautiful weather, total tranquility, and more sheep than people — a ratio I now realize I deeply appreciate. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and so well-kept it made me question my own housekeeping standards. Gerald himself is a legend — kind, helpful, and clearly some kind of sheep whisperer. He even let us feed the sheep, which was a total highlight. People pay for that kind of thing elsewhere… here, it’s just part of the charm. If you want to unwind, reconnect with nature (and a few hundred woolly locals), and enjoy some truly Irish hospitality — Gerald’s your guy.

We enjoyed 2 nights at Nick’s place. John met us at the apartment and explained everything we needed to know about the place. He also gave us recommendations for dinner. The apartment is very comfortable and in the center of everything. We could not have had better accommodations. We highly recommend his place.

The Cosy Cottage was absolutely perfect for our base to explore Donegal. It is very close to several beautiful spots and a short drive to many others. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. Donna and her family were wonderful hosts. I would rebook this cottage in the future without hesitation. Highly recommend!

I’m all about immersive travel. We stayed in Mary’s remarkable cottage for 9 nights. Exploring as much of Donegal as we could manage by car and by hiking and coming home was the beautiful end of our days. So many hikes in the Lough Eske area and right there on the land making everyday an easy choice. But, coming back to the cottage was just the best. The architecture, design, comfort (bed!) and the lovely edited art and furnishings. I cooked a number of dinners-all as if I were in my own kitchen (better!). I guess I can’t say enough! Will make every effort to come back next spring! Go raibh maith agat! 💚💚💚 Thank you!

The house is lovely, and the setting is great. One house up from Keel beach, with its labyrinth and waterfall and beautiful low tide walks. Sit in the living room and watch the sheep eat grass and the clouds roll in over the bay. Pretty well equipped kitchen and the hosts offered to loan us anything else we might need to cook full meals, which we did. Bed was really comfortable and pretty quiet at night. Maybe just cuz the local kids are home from college this week, there were loud vehicles driving on the beach one night. Otherwise, dark and peaceful. Super friendly and helpful hosts, would stay here again.

“A place we keep coming back to” This was our second time staying at this beautiful cottage, and once again it was an absolute delight. We returned for the peace, the breathtaking views, and the serene atmosphere that surrounds the home. Nestled in the heart of Connemara National Park, the location is truly special – with sheep calmly grazing all around, it feels like a world away from everyday life. The cottage itself is cosy and inviting, with a lovely fireplace that makes evenings warm and relaxing. Everything is thoughtfully arranged and full of charm. It truly feels like coming home – but in the heart of the Irish wilderness. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind, recharge, and reconnect with nature. We’ll definitely be back.

As a family of six we really enjoyed our stay. Gerry was very helpful when needed and responded promptly to a few queries I had. We enjoyed taking the boat out onto the lake, it was so peaceful. The cottage was spotless with modern appliances and very comfortable. Two little dogs were so friendly and my teens were delighted petting them. I would stay again.

The cottage was absolutely spectacular, and exactly as described - located just inside Killarney National Park, the grounds are beautiful and it's an easy walk (or short drive) to local restaurants, shops, the INEC, and Killarney town center. The cottage itself was gorgeous and very well appointed, and we very much appreciated the small touches - some coffee, tea, and biscuits for us to enjoy! We met Eileen just after check-in, where she gave us a quick but thorough tour of the cottage and shared some great conversation about the area and the event we were in town for. Thank you so much, Eileen & John, for an excellent week and we'd love to be back!

We had a wonderful time at Emily's cottage. Everything was perfect and very cozy and clean. It was very easy to find and the instructions were very clear. We recommend it!

Myself and the two boys wanted an adventure somewhere away from the hustle of Dublin. This was the perfect place, so peaceful and tranquil. The cottage has so much character and so cosy and clean. The boys loved all the old fashioned decor and ornaments as did I. We loved the garden and jetty was so beautiful. We were only 20 mins from Carraick on Shannon. Lough Key adventure Forrest was great for us with lots to do as a family. We didn’t have enough time do to everything. We will definitely be back. The host were unbelievably helpful with everything. Really quick to respond and went above and beyond to try help get us fishing. 😀 Highly recommend with older kids and just a place to escape. You can have action or chilled time.
