We stayed as a family for a week and we loved staying in a mobile home. Our kids loved the novelty of it. It's very well equipped and Mary was a very responsive host. There's a tiny little rocky beach near the mobile. The boat to Beara is also nearby, you can walk to the pier. There's loads to do in the vicinity if the weather is nice. We loved the beach in Allihies, and also Dunboy woods which is just out of town. It's a bit out of town so you'd definitely need a car. There's a garage/spar about 3 km up the road, that's the closest shop. Castletownbere is about 5 mins away and has a Supervalu and lots of little shops and restaurants. We found two that we loved, Murphys and the Lobster place, both delicious and reasonable. Would go again!

We had the best stay at the Nissen Hut! We had been recommended it by a friend so had high expectations and it still surpassed these! It is such a tranquil, beautiful location and the hut itself has been done beautifully, very stylish and with lots of attention to detail. The bed was really comfy and the living space was stunning. Evelyn was friendly and responsive before and during the stay and when we got stuck without a planned route home one day she quiicly hopped in the car to give us a lift which we were very grateful for! Can't wait to go back some day!

Impressionnant. Un enchantement absolu. Mes parents et ma nièce sont tombés amoureux du Cottage et de la région. Richard est très respectueux, extrêmement organisé et Bridget est incroyable, d'une gentillesse et d'une attention inouïe. Nous y reviendrons encore et encore c'est une certitude.

Folan’s Cottage ist wirklich ein Juwel. Die atemberaubende Aussicht auf das Meer den ganzen Tag ist einfach nur gigantisch. Unsere Kinder haben, trotz der kühlen Temperaturen, die Füße ins Wasser gehalten – mit leuchtenden Augen und viel Gekreische. Besonders süß fanden wir die kleinen Strandläufer-Vögel, die geschäftig am Ufer entlanghuschten. Das Haus verbindet traditionellen Charme mit modernem Komfort. Die großzügige Küche mit der Kochinsel wurde schnell zum Dreh- und Angelpunkt, wo wir gemeinsam gekocht und gelacht haben. Abends haben wir uns gemütlich am Kamin zusammengesetzt und Karten gespielt. Die Abgeschiedenheit des Ortes war genau das, was wir gesucht haben, um mal richtig abzuschalten. Ein echtes Highlight war die Begegnung mit den Connemara-Ponys, die entspannt vor dem Haus grasten – dieser Anblick bleibt uns sicher lange in Erinnerung. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und hoffen, bald wiederzukommen. Ein großes Dankeschön an die Gastgeber für diese unvergessliche Zeit!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Rose. Le logement était cosy comme sur la description et très propre et bien équipé. Rose avait mis tout le matériel bébé à disposition ce qui était très appréciable. L'environnement est très calme et paisible. Une voiture est nécessaire pour rejoindre les villages avec magasins/pubs etc. Nous recommandons sans hésiter.

Wir durften für 14 Tage Gäste in Annes wunderbarem Häuschen sein. Die Lage ist wirklich einmalig und sucht selbst in Irland seinesgleichen! Umgeben von wilder Natur, einer wunderbaren Küste und absoluter Ruhe. Genau was wir gesucht haben. Anne und ihre Familie waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie hat uns Tipps gegeben und wir konnten ums wirklich gut entspannen. Sollten wir wieder einmal Urlaub auf der Beara Halbinsel machen, wissen wir wo wir wohnen werden!

Second time staying at the Lazy Acre! Always a great time staying in this lovely home. Great location (ten-minute walk from the town centre or Celtic Ross), close to the beach (Warren Beach), peaceful and very clean. The house can fit a group of seven people for a weekend. Booked the Lazy Acre again for the Rosscarbery Surf Turf and Tar. Anne and Gerry are lovely hosts, as always. Very responsive, respectful and very helpful with recommendations. Can’t wait to book it again for next year.

We absolutely loved Paivi’s home, unbeatable location with incredible ocean views and access for beach walking, swimming. The home was super comfy, the sunroom a beautiful way to meet the morning sunshine. Paivi was super helpful and responsive, a great host, thank you June the goat was a joy, we fed her some apple each evening

We had a wonderful stay at the Beach House! Location, location, location is what it was all about, just stunning! Great outdoor and indoor space for all of the family. We all enjoyed the sauna and it was just a pity that the hot tub was not in use, but it did not spoil anything. The only thing to be mindful of is the shortage of hot water when taking a shower, which i think has been mentioned in previous reviews. However, overall it's the most amazing location and house for a break in West Cork and we really hope we will be back one summer in the future!

Just like Elaine, her home is warm, comfortable and oozes charm. The gardens are lovely and the birds never allow one to get bored; their antics are hilarious. This property is in a breathtaking location, and the view of the sea is stunning, at any time of day or night, and in any weather. It truly was my good fortune to be allowed to stay there! Wow, wow, wow! We don’t often write reviews & are reluctantly giving this one only because we would love to keep this gem of a place to ourselves! Myself, my husband & our fur-baby are just back from spending an incredible few days here. If you are looking for a “get away from it all” place to stay, then this is it! A beautiful cosy cottage in a stunning location. It is one of the best places we have ever stayed. The location is quite remote but there is a local store only 10 minutes away. The house itself has everything you need & more, with thoughtful extras; wood for the fire, loads of towels, including beach towels & dry robes, extra blankets, cleaning supplies, & a generous welcome gift. The views are amazing & the best bit - having a breathtaking private clean beach literally a stones throw from your door which we walked every day even in the rain! Ann is a fantastic host & made everything easy from booking to arrival. The only downside - we had to leave! But we will be back.

2nd time down in 2 weeks.. what a beautiful area of the world, so peaceful. The mobile home was just as I wanted, spotless and felt right at home.. couldn't ask for more than what we had, beautiful stay and beautiful area. definitely recommend

Eileen sent a message before arrival with very clear instructions, check in very straightforward. There was tea coffee milk & biscuits on arrival. There were 4 good size bedrooms, the master bedroom is amazing. There are a lot of stairs leading up to apartment so not suitable for someone with mobility issues The lighthouse is within walking distance of local bars, restaurants, takeaways & beach. The view is absolutely stunning & if you are lucky you’ll get a fabulous sunset. We will definitely return to this amazing property again

We had such a relaxing stay at Puffin Lodge. Super clean and comfy accommodation, gorgeous scenery and friendly welcoming hosts. All the ingredients that make for a special AirBnB experience. Would highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home from home. The kitchen is well kitted out, clean cosy beds, nice modern bathroom. There is only one bathroom and toilet combined so organisation or a rota is essential when trying to get five/six adults out the door at a certain time. Great location for those who love the great outdoors. Mike was very quick and efficient getting back to me with an answer to a query during our stay. I can't wait to return.

I can't recommend Harbour Lights enough! My family and I have stayed here multiple times, and it has consistently been a wonderful experience. The house is always clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we need for a comfortable stay. Hosts are exceptional! We truly feel at home here and look forward to returning again in the future.

Myself and family,6 adults 2 children spent a weekend here, everything about this property was absolutely amazing, the house was very modern and furnished to an exceptionally high standard, the beds were super comfortable, as in deed was the soft furnishings, and all the modern kitchen appliances, all off this made for a very pleasant and memorable weekend, and of course the proximity to the beach and its stunning views, and finally to our host who was very welcoming and helpful at all times,could not give this property and its location any higher recommendation, if in donegal look it up,

Amazing and unique experience with incredible waterfront views. Saoirse was very welcoming prior to our trip and checked in frequently before we arrived. Her instructions were clear and the house was immaculate, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated. We felt like we were at home the minute we walked in the door, and were blown away with the amenities and views. The house is a short walk from the beach/boardwalk and the town center, but you don't even have to leave the house to have a great experience here.

Excellent house in a beautiful setting! Lots of space for 8 adults, and a 7 and 10 year old. The spacious garden, books, games and toys available in the house were a great hit. The house is within walking distance of Rosscarbery and Warren Beach. Would recommend to family and friends and stay here again!

Best Airbnb experience we've ever had! Here are a few things that make Heron's Rest so special; spectacular views loads of space practical, well-equipped kitchen supremely comfy beds, linens and pillows great showers laundry room with washer and dryer lovely, separate dining room with views overlooking the Harbor spacious bedrooms with room to store and hang clothes amazing quiet great walks (forest and sea) accessible from the house The one thing that made our stay truly special, though, was Robert, who should be hired by Airbnb to teach Hosting! From the remarkably thoughtful welcome basket that included spaghetti and pasta sauce, fresh baked bread, local cheeses, biscuits / crackers, chocolate, a delicious locally produced Relish, etc. to his enthusiasm and local knowledge (the English Market in Cork City Center was great) he made our Airbnb stay very special. Thank you again!

We had a wonderful stay at Iris's Inch Beach cottage. Great location with a view of the beach. The house was very nice and was a short to walk down to the beach! It was a great launching point to check out the sights in the area; Killarney, the Ring of Kerry, Slea Head Drive and Conor's pass were all a short drive away. Check in was easy with Iris at the bed and breakfast, even arriving late like we did around 10pm.

Beautiful views, amazing area, immaculately clean, so much to watch from the window yet still peaceful and quiet for bed, short walk to all the cool streets, pubs and sites - one of my favorite Airbnb’s. Highly recommend and will definitely return!

We loved our stay at Whiting Bay. The house is beautiful and set in the most stunning location. Maria was a very helpful host and responded very quickly to any queries. The house is ideal for large groups and worked so well for our family gathering. I would highly recommend.

We have stayed at many places in Ireland over last few years but Dolphin Beach Lodge has become our favourite place so far. The house is beautiful and so clean with everything you might need for your stay or more. The location is brilliant with breathtaking views and its own private beach. We got very lucky with the weather and even spotted a couple of very playful dolphins on our last morning here. Clodagh is one of the best hosts we have stayed with who even allowed us to check in early and check out late to make the most of the weather. We have already started to plan our next stay.
