Fantastic place for our annual girls get away! 4 of us girls each had our own place to sleep. Amazing kitchen with everything you need. I loved the open concept with breathtaking views!! I could even keep an eye on my 70 year old Mom who was fishing off the dock while I was busy in the kitchen lol We will definitely be going back ♥️

We had a wonderful stay! James is an excellent host - easy to communicate with and very helpful with anything we needed during our stay. His home is beautiful, spacious, clean, and comfortable. Just a short walk from the beach! Would definitely recommend.

This place is fantastic for getting rid of stress. The service is great, it's super clean and quiet, and the view is amazing. If you want to escape the city, this is a perfect spot – a definite 10 out of 10. I'll definitely be going back!

Location, location, location. Such a beautiful, quiet spot on Bras D’or, we spent a lot of time just looking out over the water (it was cold out there, mind you). The cottage is charming and attractively furnished, and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Storage space is minimal, but lots of hangers for clothing. The washer and dryer were a real asset. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely home, privately situated next to the sea. The views were spectacular. The home was very neat and clean and very well maintained. It wasn't too far from the town of Baddeck where we got provisions and visited very good restaurants. We loved our stay at this home. Richard did a good job as our host. Thank you!

Donna's place was very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was very well supplied for making meals. I also appreciated the ample parking (two full-sized pick-up trucks fit easily) and proximity to great places to eat (I was sometimes too tired to use the fine kitchen)! We stayed a full week at Cedar Peak and really enjoyed our time. The cabin sits hillside on a private lot with incredible views. It was the perfect space to call “home” while we explored the island. The interior is just like the photos. Very thoughtfully designed with lots of conveniences - dimmable lights, lots of electrical outlets, extra pillows, ceiling fans, 3 Smart TVs, folding chairs for the deck, and even a welcome basket of snacks and some basic groceries waiting in the fridge. There was really nothing missing! We visited in late October so many restaurants and shops were closed for the season - just something to be aware of. There are grocery stores nearby, including a small one right across the road. About 3 minutes down the road was a cafe called Cafe Les Suetes - would highly recommend looking them up and stopping in - the best meal we had all vacation! Driving the Cabot Trail, visiting Inverness Beach, and hiking Skyline Trail are all must-do activities nearby.

We had an excellent getaway at Pompqet Cottages. Very beautiful scenery! Rochelle has everything you need at the cottage. Definitely will be coming back.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Check-in was a breeze with clear, detailed instructions sent in advance, making it easy to find and get inside. Stewart was incredibly flexible with check-in time — we arrived early since we didn’t stop for sightseeing on our way due to bad weather, and they were more than accommodating. They were also quick to respond to any messages. The place matched the listing perfectly, with all the amenities and services provided as described. It looked just like the photos, which was a pleasant surprise. Stewart visited us in the morning to provide helpful information and local recommendations. Very friendly, and always quick to respond to any questions. The location was stunning, with a beautiful view of the ocean and an amazing sunset view from the deck. The surroundings were peaceful and private, ideal for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a clean, well-kept, and beautifully located stay with a fantastic host!

We loved Karen’s place, it was clean, convenient and cozy, it was in the perfect location close to the university and within walking distance of restaurants, walking paths and shopping! It was the perfect spot and we will definitely come back and stay in this amazing gem!

Beautiful 4 bedroom home with a gourmet kitchen and lots of space. This home was perfect for our group of seven and felt like home as soon as we unpacked. The location is perfect for driving the Cabot Trail, exploring the many trails in Cape Breton Highlands National Park as well as the town of Cheticamp. Sunsets at the beach are a must. Extremely responsive and helpful. We will definitely be coming back. Thank You!
