We chose this place because it was close by and it is Winter. We had a big snow storm the day of our arrival. Fortunately we only had a 20 min drive and yet it felt like we were in the woods. Robert greeted us and showed us around his lovely home. It was a place where the whole family could spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day together. All eight of us declared it was the best family Christmas we had in a long time. The beauty could be seen from every window. We were provided with everything we needed to have meals together and to play games and the young adults loved the hot tub. Robert had a beautiful Christmas tree set up and there was lots of little cozy spots to have one on one chats with each other. We realized after meeting Robert that he would be so cool to hang out with but he had other family plans. We are seriously considering making it a new Christmas Tradition.

Amazing place to stay.! Felt like home

Owl & Otter is a beautiful place to stay. It was easy to find, check in, and find everything we needed. The location was peaceful with a little walk down to the lake. With 13 people staying, we were a little concerns about space. But- we were pleasantly surprised with how big the location was. We spent 3 days 2 nights and not once did anyone feel crammed or like they couldn’t get some space. All over, it was a great stay and we would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a larger place for a stay. Thanks so much Emily!

We had an amazing weekend stay! The cottage is very clean, cozy, and decorated so nicely. The weather was still a bit too cold to swim, but the walk to the lake was very short. Lots of DVDs and board games to choose from, and a perfect spot to bring our dogs.

It was a great pleasure to stay here. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mary's place. It had everything we needed, including a nice big kitchen with a lovely view; it felt like I was cooking in a treehouse :-) Mary was very easy to communicate with. We would be happy to stay here again.

Agata and Ben truly went above and beyond in hosting us last weekend. We approached them to ask if they would allow us to have a small elopement wedding ceremony on their property and they jumped at the opportunity to help us say “I do.” From the fresh cut flowers throughout the home to finding us extra seating, they made sure to make our special day as special as possible. Very quick to respond to our queries and made us feel right at home and welcome. We hope to stay again one day for our anniversary. Thank you both so much!

STUNNING property and location! The home was beautifully decorated with lots of modern touches. It included everything you needed. Lots of cookware/table settings/towels and shower items and was incredibly clean! We were a family of 7 and there was lots of space for everyone to be more than comfortable the whole stay. We loved that we were able to have the two sets of adults in each a bedroom and the kids all shared the room with two beds. The surrounding area is stunning. A quaint little village of locals and other Airbnb's and right on Peggy's Cove. It was incredible! The views are absolutely gorgeous. The only thing we didn't really like was the cost of the cleaning fee. We thought $250 was a bit much for a 3 night stay. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to anyone!

Barry was an excellent host and the place was lovely and comfortable. We highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the Bedford area.

An interesting location facing the scallop docks while 1 block from Main Street and restaurants (would recommend Bar Salvador for tapas and cocktails!). We were there off-season and parking not a problem but might be during peak season. The BnB exactly as pictured and the fireplace was great as the weather was cold and damp. Would go back.

Nice spot as described right on the outskirts of Wolfville. This place was modern, clean with lots of space. It was nice having a TV in every room along with a couple of fireplaces. We really enjoyed the extra touches of coffee, chocolates. I would highly recommend Sasha's place if you're in the area!

We had nothing short of an amazing stay at Tee’s place. We had the easiest check in, everything was so clean and looked exactly like the pictures, we enjoyed the hot tub every chance we got, and we loved that he provided us with a speaker!! Tee was so accommodating and easy to communicate with, which we really appreciated. It was the perfect location, away from the hustle and bustle, and a short 5 minute walk to the bus stop.. This was so convenient for us, since we were able to buy a bus pass and take the bus to the water. It was also a 5 minute walk to a bunch of cute shops, restaurants and cafes which is super helpful if you ever just want to go grab a quick coffee or a pastry, or go for dinner close by. We definitely will be back and would recommend Tee’s place to anyone looking to stay in Halifax. Thanks Tee!

Very clean and quaint spot to stay at. The theatre room was fantastic. Made my weeks stay a great time!

Interior is modern and very comfortable and the swim spa and patio area are private, with great views of the bay during the day and the stars at night. Easy access to Hailfax and the surrounding area.

On the Rocks is a peaceful, magical place. It is modern but cozy and extremely clean and well equipped. Jerky and Stew are responsive and friendly hosts. This was our second time here with plans to return in the future!

Our stay at Harbormist was one out of a dream Amazing space with such gorgeous. peaceful surroundings Well equipped, warm, inviting and one that was the perfect space to have a small, intimate family/friend celebration for my 50th birthday. Unforgettable and a place we would love to stay in again in the future. :)

The Breakwater is spectacular! We stayed in the Lobster Pound for four magical nights. Waking up to the sun pouring in the huge windows facing the bay was thrilling every morning! Inside the place was perfect: tastefully and thoroughly equipped to meet all our needs. We especially appreciated the binoculars, the motorized shades to maximize our privacy/views and Stew and Cheryl’s personal recommendations for sites and seafood!

Amazing views, beautiful country

It was an interesting stay for the host and for our group. First, I got a message that the air conditioning had failed the day before we arrived and the repair people were not available until after our stay. So the hosts put fans in all of the rooms! Then the hurricane came and it was not safe to stay. We left the day the hosts were coming to secure the house for the storm. And they initiated a refund for the days we could not stay! You can’t ask for more from hosts! The house is lovely and a great place to stay!

Can’t say enough about this place. Impeccable with a beautiful ocean view and peaceful surroundings. A lovely little welcome gift was a special touch. Cheryl and Stew came by to introduce themselves and they were very kind and welcoming. Everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable was thought out. The quality of the villa was outstanding and so beautiful it truly is one of a kind! It was our second stay but won’t be our last!

The location is absolutely beautiful and more spacious than the photos show. We enjoyed watching the wildlife and rolling fog from the bright open windows throughout the house. The host is very excited to share the experience with guests by providing kayaks and local food/ activity recommendations. The property is well looked after by a neighbor / property manager who has great recommendations as well! The property is remote but still within reasonable driving distance of Halifax and other tourist destinations. We recommend you get groceries on your way in though as there are limited grocery options in immediate area. Farmers markets are easily found and have best of NS. Highly recommend for a beautiful and relaxing vacation!

Beautiful and functional space that easily accomodated our group of 7 with kids. Previous reviews noted a leaking roof but we had days of rain and experienced no issues. I would definitely return!
