We were staying in the area for a wedding but unfortunately did not get to actually see Tara’s place as there was a severe storm that hit the area a few days before, leaving most of the area without power. I still wanted to leave a review as Tara was great throughout this whole situation. She messaged me immediately to let me know about the power being out and kept me updated over the next few days. As check in grew closer, she offered to cancel with a full refund or she said she could make a small generator available if I wanted to continue with the stay. I opted to cancel, she called customer service immediately and I had a refund within an hour. Her communication was excellent throughout the whole situation and her kindness was much appreciated! The area is beautiful, hopefully we can come stay another time!

A-Frame in the Woods + Hot Tub

Kelley’s place was a great place to disconnect and have quality time with friends. The area was peaceful and the cabin was wonderful for our group. We played games, went on walks and chatted around the fire table. I would highly recommend Kelley’s place to anyone looking to get away from the hustle of life and to reset.

8th Street Inn

Well, I came back, after a weekend away at State College. It was like we never left, and were simply returning back, to our pristine home. Waiting for us were two over-sized cookies, from 9th St. Deli. Ummm, yum!!! Thanks, Dana!! Three stories of perfectness. This time, I took the bedroom on the top floor alcove. So cozy. Gave my girl, the entire second floor. So she had her makeup room/office, a dressing room, and a bedroom. Luckily, I was allowed to visit lol. We even extended our stay. 8th Street is simply, one of those places you never want to leave. Rain, snow, wind, or sun, everyday feels perfect there. I feel like I should tone it down, to maintain its availability, but everyone needs to know, how great this place is. Exceptional host, hosting an exceptional place. Trust me!!!

What a wonderful space! Absolutely spotless and squeaky clean, comfy bed, spacious living and dining room, warm and welcoming vibe. The back porch was an added bonus! Close to restaurants and shops on Philadelphia St. and just a couple blocks to Whites Woods open space. Chris was a fantastic host. I would love to stay again when I’m back in Indiana!

Plum Creek Paradise - Charming 2 Bedroom Cabin

I grew up in the area so it was wonderful to connect w Shirley before making the reservation. We knew a lot of the same people so it was like talking to a neighbor. Upon arrival we were promptly greeted by the two barn cats and then Shirley and her husband pulled up to greet us as well. It was fun to reminisce and catch up on some names from the community. The place is super clean and I slept well both nights. Water pressure was very good and hot water was plentiful. The property is located in a local side road with beautiful views and fresh clean air with the sounds of nature surrounding. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away from it all.

Secluded, Quiet, 15 min trip to town, Farmhouse

Our family (2 dogs included) stayed for a few days and it worked out great for us. It’s very spacious, peaceful, and the dogs loved the fenced in yard to chase tennis balls around. Three good sized bedrooms upstairs with a bathroom so we all had our own rooms. Nice having another bathroom and sleeping options on the main floor for those unable to manage a flight of stairs. We appreciated the prompt responses from our hosts and personal touches such as leaving dog bowls of water down and that everything was labeled (light switches, cabinets, etc)

We had a wonderful stay, its very private, great for a getaway. It is hard to find, but Christine gave us excellent directions and even kept us updated on conditions as roads were icy/snowy. She was very responsive and helpful. Her place is beautiful!

Oak St. Retreat w/ King Bed close to Downtown

Very impressed with Amanda’s place! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the apartment overall was very spacious. The kitchen had everything I needed and I loved the coffee area. The location is convenient and also quiet, which I appreciated. I’ll definitely save this one for my return visits.

Rod was very responsive and the house was very clean! He made sure check in was easy and everything was as stated! Would definitely stay again.

Luke was very responsive and helpful with details and proactive with information and helpful hints. His place was very comfortable, clean and as advertised. The major appliances looked new, and the huge tvs were welcomed. I’ll schedule again if returning to the area.

My room was very clean and comfortable and was just what I needed after a long trip through some very bad weather. The apartment was shared with another couple in town to visit their daughter but was no problem at all. Tiffany was great to work with and very helpful with getting me into the apartment after a few glitches with the entry system and spare keys. She was super responsive to all my calls. I’d surely consider booking again when back in the area.
