Gull Cottage Wooli - On the Beach

We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful few days at beautiful Gull Cottage. The interior is soberly decorated and everything about the cottage gave that seaside cottage ambience! The furnishings fittings and bedding were all top quality and you can tell straightaway that this is a much loved cottage SUR LA MER. Lyndy is a fabulous host and is highly responsive to even the smallest detail which is always greatly appreciated. Instead of cooking, we spent quite a few nights at the local Wooli Pub as their staff were friendly locals and the food is good pub quality with an extensive range. The pizzas are next level. We also enjoyed trips to Minnie Water and the General Store there is a top spot - particularly their home made pies! All in all a lovely getaway from it all.

The property and surrands were absolutley stunning. Large bedrooms and having 3 bathrooms was fantastic. Very large kitchen and butlers pantry makes preparing meals a breeze. Also the outdoor kitchen and BBQ are was an added bonus. Our group of 9 did not feel cramped at all. The Clarence River was stunning and a great playground with a boat ramp only a couple of minutes up the road. Bree was a fanatastic host and was very helpful when we had to add a day at the last minute. When we had a few questions to ask she responded straight away. Would thouroughly recomend staying at this property. We will definately be back.

I had a wonderful 3-night stay at Helen's place! It was everything I needed and more. Helen’s kindness and thoughtfulness truly made me feel right at home. From the delicious treats she provided to having access to all TV streaming services, every detail was carefully considered to ensure my stay was perfect.

This homestead was exquisite and had all amenities you needed, and more. The home was extremely clean and tidy and took you back to the Victorian era and we were impressed by the grandness of this beautiful home. Being an NZ visitor. It was great to be greeted throughout the day, by Kangaroos around the property. The entertainment deck was perfect for the crowd we had and it is completely, shrouded in mesh, to keep insects out and had a BBQ kitchen set up in here, too, with a additional fridge/freezer as well. Plenty of seating. Bernadette and Tim were great hosts and were so prompt and attentive, to all our requirements and questions. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your lovely home. We will definitely look at this stay again, in the future.

We had a fantastic family holiday in a wonderful location. Travelling with young kids can be a bit challenging at times, but Margaret and Laurence made it easier by providing a booster seat and high chair, both ready to use on arrival. The house was spotless, well-organised, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The kitchen was especially impressive—fully stocked with all the essentials for cooking meals at home. The view was breathtaking. We were lucky enough to spot dolphins every day, which was such a highlight, along with beautiful seabirds and incredible views of the Milky Way at night. Thank you for a lovely stay in Iluka!

This is our second time staying at Pierre’s beautiful home for our family of 5. The location is amazing, with spectacular views and beautiful sunsets. The kayaks are a bonus and our kids have loved fishing. The house has a lovely warm, inviting and relaxing feel. We just loved everything about our stay and hope to come back again soon.

Wow!! From the moment we walked in, it honestly took our breath away! We travelled as a family of 4, mum and 3 boys and this spot was just what we wanted, right on the beach, literally just step outside the door. There is a seat just outside which is the perfect viewing platform to watch the kids swim, fish and play while enjoying a coffee in the morning or wine for sunset (of course when we weren't down there enjoying the beach with them). The house itself has been renovated perfectly and set up for a stay with everything thought of including a basket of blankets by the lounge for the cooler evenings when the doors are all open and the waves are crashing outside, it was just so cosy! The bedroom linen was also pristine, it really gave the stay a touch of luxe and the lovely beach sarongs/turkish towels were great to utilise for our quick ocean dips out front. The kitchen had everything we needed and the coffee machine and pods was thoroughly appreciated. We loved our stay!

Highly recommend Sharon’s place - super clean, very well equipped, and what a spectacular view! Great location with easy walk to multiple beaches, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Hope to be back soon, we absolutely loved our time here!

Wow! What a great property!! The perfect beach shack with beautiful views of the ocean. Beautiful space for the kids, comfortable beds and furniture and super tidy. Beautifully presented accommodation, perfect for a quite beach getaway. Location overlooking the sand dunes and surf was magical. We were able to walk everywhere…. Wooli Wooli Cafe for great coffee, the bowls club for yummy Chinese dinner and the Wooli Boat hire for a couple of hours cruising Wooli Wooli River. We felt very at home in your gorgeous beach getaway Sally. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Jules and Carl were incredibly friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable from the first meeting at the premises. The accommodation was very clean and serviceable. We caught the courtesy bus to the hotel 10 minutes away and could have done the same to the bowls club but they closed early that particular day. We also caught the ferry across to Yamba 30 minutes and went to the Wobbly Chook Brewery. Overall we had a great stay and will return next time we visit Iluka.

Great, tidy, perfectly located apartment. Beach views are amazing. The apartment was homey and the furniture was lovely! Felt right at home. The citronella candles were very handy!! Overall would stay again and would recommend!

Incredible! Right on the sand dunes, watch the waves, feel the breeze and go to sleep with the sound of crashing waves. The house is gorgeous and a wonderful place for a family holiday. Very clean and with everything you need, lots of little extra touches which make you feels so welcome. Highly recommend.

House and Granny Flat on the Clarence River

Jodie has a great house situated at the very end of a Water Ski Lodge. While the location is about 20mins out of town the views and privacy are well worth any inconvenience. We were a group of 9 adults and found the house perfect for our needs. Its a very well maintained property with manicured gardens and very tasteful appointments inside. Lots of parking room for multiple vehicles and boats. The pool table and Gazebo were used each night & is a great place to relax. Lots of friendly wildlife around including water dragons, green tree frogs and a variety of birds. Highly recommend.

The property itself was exactly as described. It was immaculately clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The little details, like fresh towels, tea & coffee plus snacks, made all the difference. Marcus’ home is beautiful, and right on the beautiful Clarence River. Nearby boat ramps are helpful also, and the scenery is just stunning. Marcus’ place is unique with many personal touches. We had a beautiful and restful time. Highly recommend.
