Just beyond the screened-in porch is an outdoor fireplace, perfect for couples and friends to heat up under the stars while surrounded by the mature oak and maple trees. The Carriage House has everything you might desire during your stay.

This beautiful craftsman style house is over 110 years old and still has all the original woodwork making it cozy and inviting. It is also tastefully decorated with art and antique furniture giving it a very unique and boutique feel. Because the house is perfectly situated between downtown and Washington Park it is ideal for those doing business in the city center or tourists visiting the historic sites. My goal is to offer a comfortable , unique, and satisfying experience for all my guests.

The perfect mix of old and new in the Great House of Galesburg built in 1857 by Silas Willard who helped bring the railroad and higher education to Galesburg. There are four bedrooms each with a full bath and their own unique style. A full kitchen, dining room, front room furnished with piano & base, side parlor, library, vault, front & back porch and many sitting areas available for your enjoyment. Just a 1/2 mile walk through a historic neighborhood to our beautiful downtown Galesburg.

Private pasture turn out available for $25 per horse per night. Trailer hook up is $35 per night per trailer.

The room is located on the third floor (40 steps)! The second floor offers access to the kitchen, living room, and balcony.

This 1840's miner's cottage in the heart of Galena is only 3 blocks from beautiful, historic and fun Downtown Galena Main Street, but is far enough to have quiet times in the quarter acre yard of perennial gardens as well the expansive 2 story front porch, and 3rd porch off the kitchen, with gas grill. The house sits on a corner lot in the Galena National Historic District. The bathroom and kitchen are newly remodeled and the entire house is designer decorated. Beautiful!
