If you want to connect wth the real Tanzania while experiencing all the comforts of life this is the place to stay. Forget about other run of the mill accom, my stay with Ummy at her family home gave me the opportunity to taste Tanzanian food and connect with locals. Thanks Ummy and family, I'll be back to experience more of your wonderful hospitality.

Great cozy place to stay

I highly recommend staying at Justa's place! Sinza is a very lively, authentic neighborhood with lots of fruit and vegetable stalls, small restaurants and very friendly people. Location is great and close to the university but a little bit further from the city centre. We felt welcome from the very first second. Thanks again, also especially to John, Helen, Maviki ad of course Justa!

During my stay, I found the accommodation to be excellent value for money. The host was responsive and ensured my safety. Benon, in particular, was very helpful in setting up transportation using Uber and bolt and also provided advice on where to tour while in the city. The privacy was great cause Ben was always at work. The plunge pool was a convenient amenity for relaxing in the evenings, especially given the hot weather in Dar es Salaam. However, I did notice that the kitchen cabinets could use some renovation. Additionally, theres a generator but loud when in use. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.” 😊

The place is great for anyone who needs an accommodation prior to their flight from DAR airport. The host helped to arrange taxi to/from the place which was very useful. They also helped us to get a takeaway which was very kind of them. The only issues we had is that there was no hot water on the premises, one bedroom didn’t have a door and there was a bit of noise in the evening from Masais.

Arafat was super helpful on very short notice, great communication and prompt arrangement of the place. Booked at 730am and we were checked in by 1pm. Excellent location, easy to find and between downtown and the peninsula so easy to get anywhere. Very comfortable and well lit rooms with massive windows allowing in natural light. Highly recommended, would stay again.

The place is as described and looks in the photos. Access to amenities from the property was easy and convenient. However, it lacked basic toiletries like soap and toilet paper. Having to purchase electricity tokens in order to use the A/C was not what I expected. The host should consider charging more instead of rationing electricity tokens, it would still be worth the stay

Kate’s apartment is something special. The building is full of history, her space is so beautifully curated and the views of the city are epic. Kate is warm and communicative and more than accommodating. My stay offered a beautiful entry into Dar.

This is hands down the best Airbnb we stayed in in Dar!! Incredible value, immaculately clean, private bathrooms in each bedroom, two balconies, gorgeous views. Can't recommend highly enough!!

Great location, amazing view and comfort. Angela was amazing with assisting me with any questions. I definitely recommend if you want or need a private space located in the heart of Dar.

We had a wonderful stay at this flat! It truly has everything you need, from a TV to a well-equipped kitchen. The space is cozy, comfortable, and very clean. The location is fantastic, with a supermarket conveniently right in front of the flat. It’s also very quiet, which made for a relaxing experience. A small note: only one bedroom has air conditioning, while the other has a ceiling fan. Thank you for hosting us! We’ll definitely be coming back.

AK’s place was just as beautiful as you can see in pictures, very clean, stylish and warm feel with Tanzanian & modern flavored furnitures. We have landed in Dar, booked to stay here and checked in within an hour but AK responded so quickly to our request to stay at her place, and her communication was excellent throughout our stay. The apartment is located in the very convenient place, close to Masaki & also town so very easy to get around. Wifi was strong as well, which I required to remote work for some days so appreciated stable connections taking calls etc. I would highly recommend AK’s place to anyone visiting Dar. Thank you very much for your hospitality. Asante
