Iberian Peninsula: soggiorni in castelli

Un lieu d’exception pour un anniversaire. Nous avons passé une soirée magique !

Anais is always responsive to my questions and requests. She and Bastane are very friendly with their kids and pets. We feel like staying at home during our short stay at their castle. Anais satisfies our requests without hesitation, and the castle is very spacious. They are renovating the castle, and I believe the rent will even be better after the renovation is complete.

Si vous recherchez de la tranquillité en famille, c'est un endroit idéal. Piscine, Table de Ping Pong, Balançoire, BBQ, Trampoline, Terrain de Tennis. Il y a de nombreuses activités sur place. De notre terrasse, presque quotidiennement le matin et le soir, nous pouvions voir les chevreuils vebir brouter dans les prairies à quelques mètres. Si vous aimez les ballades et l'aventure, il y a de nombreux petits chemins à explorer dans les bois environnant. Nous avons passé donc un très bon moment en famille.

Nuestra estancia en el Castillo de David ha sido inmejorable. Vistas al río Tarn, piscina para hacer barbacoa, decoración exquisita y un jardín espectacular. Habitaciones muy amplias y todo lo necesario para vivir. Nos atendió Alexandre, que fue amable y atento en todo momento con nosotros. Muy agradecidos.

This place is absolutely stunning. The rooms and bathrooms are modern and cozy, offering every comfort and amenity without compromising the historic charm. Staying in the castle felt like stepping back in time—its architecture and gardens are truly a dream. It’s incredibly private and peaceful, the perfect escape. I came with three friends for a wine trip, and we each had our own room. Nathalie went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable—helping us find and arrange activities like a private chef and yoga instructor nd providing every possible option. She was exceptionally attentive and responsive, adding an extra layer of excellence to an already magical experience.

We had great time with our dog, and Ana was always there if we have any question. What a great getaway with fine artistic details to connect with Nature. Highly recommended and will definitely be back.

Logement incroyable: spacieux, bien décoré, bien aménagé , bien équipé. Localisation super: proche des axes principaux mais complètement isolé et calme quand même. Hôte géniale: réactive, flexible, serviable, aimable. Encore merci pour ce séjour qui nous a tous et toutes séduits.

Pete es un anfitrión ideal. Siempre estuvo pendiente de nosotros y de nuestras consultas. El alojamiento es muy lindo y cómodo con todo lo q se necesita para pasarla bien. Sin dudas recomendable y sobre todo la ubicación del alojamiento es inmejorable.

We had a lovely stay at Fabrice’s beautiful estate. The mansion is large, well decorated, private and has a well stocked kitchen and cosy living room. We enjoyed many nights eating outside at the private patio. The shared pool is great - large enough to do laps, nice temperature, and has great accessories. The surroundings are stunning, you are in the middle of the vineyards. We will definitely try to stay at Fabrice’s place again!

Great place. Loved the size and location. Has an issue with door code but it was solved. The building was being sand blasted and was plastic wrapped so finding the main entrance was a bit tricky. (might help if entrance described as a cross from church)

Thank you so much Maria and Damien for a wonderful weekend - everything was just perfect. The chateau was beautiful, in lively surroundings and extremely well equipped with lots of lovely touches throughout. The wine tasting was phenomenal and it was great to be able to purchase the wine straight from the comfort of the kitchen. Maria and Damien were amazing hosts, very responsive, giving great tips and offering so much flexibility to make our trip as great as could be. The dogs were so lovely too! We enjoyed being able to walk the quieter country roads nearby, including to Haux village to the nice Auberge. We really hope to come back soon.

There isn’t a better villa in all of Spain. This one is close to a phenomenal winery, perfect dining, and ideal location. Waking up in the palatial home was a dream. We could t have been happier.

Wow! What an amazing place to stay! Alice’s Chateau was the perfect place to stay with family. The house and the surrounding gardens are beautifully presented with fully stocked amenities. I highly recommend Chateau du Grava!

A ne pas rater !!! Ce gîte de charme est vraiment une perle de tranquillité et confort. Nous avons passé une semaine incroyable en famille et nous sommes tous très heureux de ce choix. Gui et Carissa ont, clairement, préparé la maison soigneusement : des lits confortables, une salle de bain splendide, une cuisine complètement équipée, des outils et consommables en abondance, la déco attentive aux détails... on voit leur attention en chaque petit coin et on se sent vraiment chez soit. 3 petits "points d’attention" : 1. la cheminée n’est pas tout à fait utilisable en ce moment; 2.l’isolation sonore des toilettes n’est pas très efficace (peut être gênant pour des groupes qui n'ont pas beaucoup d’intimité); 3.le réseau dans le village est très faible. Pour le séjour, aucun problème, le Wi-Fi est excellent, toutefois pour communiquer notre arrivée avec Maud c’était compliqué. Bref, nous 5 recommandons fortement cette maison pittoresque!

Juan es un host súper preocupado. Desde el inicio fue súper claro en sus instrucciones y siempre estuvo muy dispuesto a responder nuestras preguntas. Una vez que llegamos fue muy atento y nos hizo sentir como en casa. El alojamiento está en una ubicación muy buena respecto a los puntos de interés más típicos que se visitan en Lisboa.

Philippe’s chateau is the perfect stay for exploring the wine region. That chateau is beautiful, spacious and extremely welcoming. We loved the bbq and pool. We had a fantastic time doing a wine tasting at the chateau (which you can purchase!)

Alojamiento estupendo, unas vistas espectaculares. Suelo calefactable que hace que no pases frío, un apartamento muy íntimo y es ideal para un retiro en pareja. Además los dueños son muy amables y atentos, gracias☺️

Absolutely beautiful place! The house and pool are gorgeous and so well-equipped. It's in a quiet location but there is a lovely small town 10 mins away. We would stay again!

It was a real pleasure to stay in the lavender gite in the grounds of the chateau Michael's renovating. What made our stay special was the warm and friendly hospitality from Michael and his friend Gabi, and the beautiful gardens he's created around the gites, the chateau and the swimming pool. It was a bit too chilly to use the pool in our stay, but it looked very inviting in better weather!

Un hôte exceptionnel ainsi que le château Tout était parfait , bien mieux que ce que l’on pouvait imaginer.

We stayed here in April as a family with a 7 year old. This is not just a place to stay, it's a wonderful experience! The castle is gorgeous and has an interesting history, as we learned from Sebas on a really lovely tour. The grounds are magical, with lots to explore for our son (plus games, books and toys). Our apartment was on the first floor and looked better than in the photos. It had a lot of space, the fireplace was cozy and with separate bedrooms it's great to go with kids or two couples. The apartment is full of character, just what you'd expect from staying in a castle! Everything was clean and comfortable and Gloria and Sebas are the most welcoming and gracious hosts, always thinking of how to improve our stay and recommending places to go (we loved the short visits/hikes to the Monastery, the Minyona viewpoint and the Hermita, all with amazing views, and the 2 hour hike to the Salt de Sallent waterfall). All in all a wonderful stay, we'd love to come back in summer!
