We absolutely loved our stay here! It was a perfect location to the ski hills yet a very quiet setting that we could relax after a day at the slopes. The house was a perfect size and layout for our group, decorated very nicely, and had great amenities; hot tub, sauna, comfortable choices, and a great sized kitchen stocked with all the essentials.

Beautiful getaway. A river runs by providing soothing sounds and picturesque sights. Can be seen from the wonderful hot tub out back and from the long covered deck. Some property to walk, but also close to many waterfall hikes, if you're wanting some outdoor adventure. During bad weather or you're feeling lazy, the couch is very comfy and the TV large. Hannah was extremely responsive and helpful (I got my car stuck, through my own fault, and she facilitated my escape). She provided recommendations of her own accord, and they all turned out to be accurate.

We rented both sides and it worked great for two families. Two kitchens and two living rooms when you have 4 kids makes everything easier. The hot tub was a big hit with the kids and the walking distance to the hill was a bonus. We would definitely rent this place again!

Plenty of space and a good location for ski in/ski out

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were perfect for what we needed and we really enjoyed being so close to the lake and the peacefulness of nature.

Hemlock Haven was an absolute gem to stay at. The place was very nice, with really nice furnishings and very well stocked. The drive in is just gorgeous and very private. We walked our dog off leash daily and never ran into anyone. Felt like we had the world to ourselves. Fishing was pretty good too. We caught walleye, perch, northern and a few small Muskie. Bob was so helpful and gave us lots of tips and places to try out. The out door deck in the back is so cool and where we spent lots of time cooking, eating, and listening to music. We never turned on the tv once! It is tight to go up to the master bedroom which is accessed by a spiral staircase. We stayed in the bunk room because we didn’t want to leave our senior dog downstairs alone in a strange place, so we had to bring our luggage upstairs as there really isn’t anywhere to put anything downstairs. It was impossible to get my luggage up but managed to move some stuff around and make it work. This was the only negative! 5 stars!

We loved staying here! Such a beautiful area and the host was so responsive and nice :) I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy house that tons can sleep in!

We had a wonderful stay at the Cabin on the Trails. It is a lovely accommodation with beautiful surroundings and is staged to showcase the delightful pond and surrounding woodlands. The cabin is warm and well-furnished with comfortable chairs for lounging when relaxing. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped for easy stay-in meal preparation and clean up. The bathroom is well-appointed with a large step-in shower that has great water pressure. The beds are large and very comfortable. We had plenty of space for our belongings, of which we brought much, and our dogs were very happy and content. We felt very safe and secure in the area, and enjoyed tremendous privacy, but also did not feel isolated or too far removed from easy access to major roadways. Stores, gas stations, and restaurants all are within a 30-minutes of drive. We had a great stay and would book the cabin again on return trips to the area. Thank you, Angie!

Excellent cabin close to restaurants/bars but far enough and quiet to enjoy the moon and stars and in my case snow falling in a perfect wintery scene. If you own or rent snowmobile this is an ideal location as well. Cabin is perfectly laid out to maximize space and has everything you need. Cabin was clean with lots of details and Chad & Amber are excellent hosts, they were very responsive. The sofa is comfortable and can be pulled out for additional sleeping. TV in living room and one located in 2nd bedroom with twin bedrooms. There is an outdoor sauna did not utilize but there are lights and speakers pretty cool. It is a fabulous cabin I would definitely book again!

Great week, perfect location for fishing, viewing colors, and the northern lights. Nice cozy cabin with all the amenities you need. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. Hidden gem.

Our family really enjoyed a special Christmas Up North at Derek's family cabin. We cooked all of our meals and appreciated having a modern, updated kitchen. We stated many times "this kitchen is just our style" with the space, view of the lake, large undermount sink with amazing sprayer faucet, very nice stove and oven, excellent refrigerator and dishwasher. The butcher block kitchen island with counter-height barstool seating was perfect for baking Christmas cookies, decorating, talking, and again enjoying beautiful views of the wooded backyard and lake. The wood-burning fireplace in the living room is the best we have ever utilized at any home Up North so far!! Derek provides the first bundle and for the rest of the week, we shopped at Snow's Family Market only 15 mins drive away. The mattresses are so comfortable, the bedding is more luxurious with a cabin feel. We truly appreciate Derek and family's selflessness to open their gem of a home for others to create family memories.

Cabin was very cozy and easy to find. Right across the street is trail 6 which was easy to access by snowmobile. Thanks.

Our second stay here. Love this place

I was surprised the internet was so great. We got in the lake at the base of the dock three of the four days. It was so nice to be able to take a quick dip, and then hang out on the dock. We saw lots and lots of deer.

What a cute cabin right on little saint. We used the cabin as our snowmobiling home base and it was perfect. Easy to get right on little saint and the trail from the back of the property. Plenty of parking for the trailer. Absolutely would stay again, perfect trip.

Beautiful cabin on a beautiful lake. Unfortunately it is definitely made more so for family’s or just a single couple as there are older neighbors nearby who want it to be quiet and serene all day and night long. Chris was an amazing host though and gave us plenty of directions and fun ideas of places to go!

Beautiful cabin right on the water. You can hear the waves from the front door. Easy to warm when you go during colder months (would recommend). Well stocked. And the walk down to the beach was easy and clear. Host was amazing. Made sure the space and path was as cleared as possible since we got in during cold/winter weather. Also Tom brought us pans when we needed some, which was thoughtful. Lots of beautiful trails and waterfalls nearby. Would absolutely recommend.

Cozy little cabin in the north woods. Comfortable beds. Nice enclosed patio. Located right on the lake. It has all the amenities you would need for a long weekend. We'll stocked kitchen with all the cookware you would need.

Total Seclusion was a wonderful location for a family vacation, both peaceful and beautiful!! We had 13 family members and pets with plenty of room. Upon arrival, the welcoming committee of three deer was a delight for my grandchildren!! Wildlife we continued to see throughout the week. The Paddleboards and kayaks were a hit. We rented a boat for a couple of days, which was delivered right to the dock. We enjoyed both indoor and outdoor games as well as the firepit, which we used all but one day due to rain. The outdoor cooks absolutely loved the Blackstone. Travis was responsive to questions and requests for information. The only downfall was the lack of firewood upon arrival, but we got through. If you are looking to stay in the St. Germain area, I would highly recommend Total Seclusion. I would absolutely return!! It is a great location, close to town, yet feels like you are forever away.

We can’t say enough good things about our visit! We’ve stayed at many rental homes and this is one of the best, if not the best! Very comfortable and nicely appointed with everything you could need, super clean and organized (and I’m picky about clean), gorgeous location on our favorite chain of lakes, very helpful host and nice value for the rate. We hope to go back again next year! Highly recommend!
