Huntsville: soggiorni in baite

We came for the long weekend (15 of us) and had a blast. We loved the surrounding areas and went for a long walk, the trees, the views , the colours 💕💕💕. The had clear instructions and sticky notes everywhere and there was no confusion. We stayed up for the campfire late, used the hot tub, grilled our meat, and had the time of our lives. Even though we just stayed for one night it felt really long. We are grateful for Todd and Karen and their amazing place with beautiful interior details. Will recommend this place.

The cottage was clean and cozy and we had a lovely stay! Katrina was accommodating and friendly! I would highly recommend staying here, it has a lot to offer! A fenced in front yard was a bonus for our dog, the hot tub was a luxury and the wood burning fireplace added a special ambiance. It is peaceful being surrounded by trees and a conservation area and felt very private. The short walk to the lakefront was enjoyable. We definitely had a fabulous and relaxing time and wouldn’t hesitate to go back again!!

Wow. This private escape Garth and Rebecca have decided to share is just beautiful. From the moment we got there it was peaceful. Garth and Rebecca are very responsive and willing to help with any questions you might have. Everything is thought of down to the smallest details. I honestly can't say enough good things about my stay! Thank you to Garth and Rebecca for sharing this wonderful escape with us and we will definitely be coming again.

Michael and Margaret are great hosts. We head up to their place every winter now for a little cottage country escape. They are super responsive and helpful. Their place is warm, cozy, and has a great hot tub under the stars (and under the snow if you’re lucky). We’ll be back again!

I would 100% stay here again. The apartment was fantastic, extremely clean and cozy! We didn't have many concerns or requirements during our stay, so we didn't have much interaction with Marsha outside of our check in and check out instructions. Check in was super easy and directions were clear. Check out was also extremely simple and had extremely basic requests for checking out. If you are looking to stay in the area, I would for sure recommend staying with Marsha.

I loved this place!! Perfect for the shoulder seasons and winter. Loved the coziness and the modern Nordic vibe so close to the city. Would return.

Wanda’s cozy little cabin was the perfect spot for a relaxing winter getaway! Her place exceeded the photos, as soon as we walked in Wanda already had the wood stove fireplace going so that the place was warm and cozy when we arrived. She was extremely pleasant and responsive when we had questions and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave! Would definetley recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

The cottage was really cute and perfect for a romantic week-end! It was cozy and with vinyls we could listen to some ambiance music. There was an LCBO near so we got really nice Ontario wines. Only down for us was the matress for my husband who has back problems. Me, I don't so it was ok. Ruth-Ann and Bobby were really responsive and nice. Très joli chalet pour une fin de semaine de couple. Un bon verre de vin, musique avec des vinyles et reste juste à profiter du patio.

We had a great stay at Stella’s place! Everything was as described. Comfortable bed. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great location close to Bala and Gravenhurst. Any questions we had were answered promptly. Would stay here again!

We had such a great time both indoors and outdoors. In the sunshine we were able to explore the property and on rainy days we were able to enjoy the indoor space playing pool and endless boardgames. Would highly recommend this cozy space!

From the private location, the acres of cedar trees and secret pathways to the wetlands and the singing frogs, baby goats and their gentle mama’s, the kindness radiating from Humble Ranch is tangible. The owners welcomed me by moving long and deep into presence clipping the goats feet 😅 donkey, horse and the strange and wonderful alpacas were nothing but gracious hosts as well. Loving it all. The cabin was complete and comfy. TV was a bonus! What a wonderful weekend! Gracias amigas 🥳

Enjoyed our stay at Glenn Burney Lodge. Owner was very helpful and communicative, proximity to restaurant was great, privacy and seclusion of cabin made us comfortable on a first trip with our dog that he wasn’t going to annoy others if he barked a lot (which he didn’t…yay!). Overall, a very positive experience.

The most perfect little place for a mini get away.

Christine’s place was absolutely beautiful and literally perfect for a cottage long weekend. the pictures don’t even do it justice. the dock out looked such a beautiful lake, great for water activities!! the beds worked out perfectly for 5 people, thought u could definitely fit 7, maybe 8. the kitchen was equipped with quite enough, and the bathroom had sanitary products which was so convenient. there’s also a soft tub which was super warm and so relaxing, and an entire bar room with darts overlooking the water! we had so so so much fun here and it was seriously such a beautiful cottage, don’t let the lack of reviews fool you!! absolutely loved this so much:)

It was great staying Misty River Cabin. The area was beautiful. My family enjoyed the stay and our dog love all the outdoor space to play fetch. Close drive to bracebridge made this location perfect for us as it allowed us to visit some of the local breweries there. The Cabin itself was beautiful and cozy. Would definitely come back in the future.

My husband and I wanted a quick getaway , somewhere rustic,quiet and close to water. We found Janet’s cabin just what we were looking for. Everything from the check in to the amenities met our expectations. Would definitely recommend Alexanne cottage rentals for your getaway adventure. We feel totally relaxed and rested ! We spent the weekend at Jenny’s cottage in the woods and honestly, we’re so grateful to experience this little slice of heaven. The decor and atmosphere Jenny has created is so cozy and peaceful - we feel in love as soon as we stepped inside the front door. Our only regret is we couldn’t stay longer! Jenny is very kind, responsive, and a fabulous host all around! :) Also her recommendation for Katrine Pizza was great! Amazing service and delicious food (+ a close drive to the cabin!) We hope to come back soon and are so appreciative of Jenny sharing her gorgeous cabin. Can’t say enough good things! 💖✨

I had the best time at Sarah's place. It was so relaxing and and peaceful, I really needed to get away from the city and work and just take some time to unwind and relax. The beach cabin was a delight to stay in, everything was decorated so well and the hot tub and sauna helped us to decompress! There is a bbq to cook on and everything inside is spotless and pristine. It's a great place to visit for a girls trip or to reconnect with your partner! I can't wait to go back.

Place is cozy and well maintained. I loved the location and facilities provided. Host was very helpful and whole check-in/checkout process was flawless.

Had a wonderful stay, the cabin was absolutely perfect. Very cute, clean and well appointed. I will definitely be back. I strongly urge vacationers to try Honeys Diner, down the Rd, delicious breakfasts and the Woodview convenience store has all your last minute items that you may need, not to mention very yummy locally made cheesecake and butter tarts. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -Linda 🙌

This is a great spot! Just steps from the lake and with your own private dock and fire pit, it’s hard not to fall in love with Muskoka’a charm. Easy to find and access, stocked with all the amenities you need, and feels like home. We stayed just one night but wished we had stayed longer. Communication with Cassie was quick and her thorough instruction guide gave us all of the information we ever could’ve needed (and more!). We would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing time for Thanksgiving, the cottage is gorgeous (better than photos), Gabriella was very flexible, responsive, everything was there that we needed to host a Thanksgiving dinner and hosts were accommodating of our dog and extra kids. Beautiful walk this time of year around the road, enjoyed the fire pit. It was perfect!
