Excellent condo! Enjoyed the stay and the surrounding area was beautiful!

This place was the perfect getaway sanctuary from the big city hustle and bustle for a quiet weekend trip in the beautiful mountain scenery. The condo is well-appointed, matches the description, and just steps away from the trails of San Isabel National Forest, which was so serene to walk through with my spouse and furbaby. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy getaway! Hosts were super responsive, informative and easy to deal with as well to reduce the travel angst. :-)

This home is lovely, comfortable and quirky. It feels like a mountain home, though it sits right beside highway 160 in Ft. Garland. That made it exceptionally convenient to all the San Luis Valley had to offer for those getting away for a few days of relaxation. The people in Ft. Garland and Blanca were welcoming and friendly. Maria was helpful and responded quickly to our questions. It was a wonderful stay.

Beautiful views from the deck, quiet area, deer, and great fenced yard. We (my dog and I) enjoyed our stay, April snow and all!

We spent two nights here and really enjoyed our time. beautiful home with everything you would need. the kitchen was the best I've experienced staying in an AirBnB-it had literally everything we needed to cook a feast. the hot tub was so relaxing and we spent most of our time in it. this location is perfect for large families or for just two people. would love to come back again with our family in the future!

The place was great– very secluded, exactly what I was looking for as a private retreat – views were amazing, great hiking ….. I couldn’t ask for more

Dawn is a wonderful host and has lovely little place. Most definitely would stay there again.

We were very grateful to find this quirky home when another AirBNB cancelled on us at the last minute right before a bleak snow storm. We arrived to a lovely warm house and had fun playing some old LP records. We woke to a decent blanket of snow, which didn't seem to bother the three deer nibbling at the trees right outside the kitchen window. All in all very tranquil.

We have stayed here before and probably will again.

Great place in La Veta. Great location, safe and friendly neighborhood. We spotted deer 🦌 throughout the day. Home is big and comfortable. Many board games for the kids and family fun.
