Hudson River: soggiorni in cottage

Perfect place for our busy family to get away and reconnect. We loved our time at the lake, enjoyed the hot tub and firepit, and of course quality time together in the comfortable cottage.

Allison’s cottage is a wonderful spot! My partner and I spent a very nice week there. Allison was so helpful, responsive, and detailed. Every room was pristinely clean, and nicely decorated. The hot tub was the highlight of our stay. The cabin is located close enough to attractions, restaurants, and stores, but still felt quiet and peaceful!

Very nice stay. Quiet private and peaceful. We enjoyed ourselves very much. The place was very clean and we especially enjoyed the deck, fire pit and hot tub. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect, modern yet cozy cabin. The aesthetic was beautiful and was fully stocked with everything you could need. The neighbors are close but we never saw them. Maybe because we came up before the season picks up. We utilized all of Bilen's local recommendations. We loved the Local Table & Tap. Beautiful views. We also took a drive to Upward Brewing which was phenomenal. Keeping this Airbnb in my go-tos. Couldn't be happier :) Perfect for nature lovers.

Our two-night stay was seamless. The check-in process was smooth, and the directions provided were clear and precise. The location was well-described, highlighting all the amenities available. The backyard was spacious and inviting, while the hot tub was a great addition for relaxation.

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved staying at Bob & Julie’s lake house. 10/10! The house itself looks exactly like the photos with so many accommodations you usually don’t expect in an air bnb. Amazing kitchen (something I look for since I love to cook). I cooked a lot this weekend and it felt like home! The backyard is perfect. We were outside most of the day either by the lake, the fire pit or in the hot tub at night just loving life. We made A LOT of s’mores. The house is literally ON the lake with picture perfect views and the surroundings and the lake are kept SO clean. Bob and Julie were amazing hosts before, during and after our stay. Very quick to respond and always friendly. We’ve already told them we would love to book another weekend here again and probably for an extra night this time!

Gorgeous house, super clean and tidy inside, with comfy and modern furniture. The hot tub was fantastic, make sure you turn off the lights so you can see the stars! The only other heads up I’ll give is that the way to get in is through the back entrance! We tried the front door for like 5 minutes until the electronic lock blocked us from continuing haha. Great location to get away from the city for a weekend and go hiking. Lots of great trails really close by.

Kelsey’s cottage was exactly as described. It was so beautifully decorated & had everything that we would need. We had a wonderfully relaxing weekend & hope to do it again soon.

Adorable cottage absolutely ideal for unplugging and relaxing

We had a great stay. It was just what we needed for a weekend away from the City. The house was clean, the fenced in yard was great for the dog, hot tub was really nice, and the fire pit was great for a chilly night. We felt right at home and would definitely stay again. Loved our stay at Lulu’s cozy, quaint and welcoming cottage! Lulu was very proactive with detailed check in instructions and was accessible during our stay. The cottage is tucked away, peaceful and had lovely views. We shopped and at dinner in Woodstock which is a wonderful area.

Darla’s cottage was such a sweet spot for a weekend getaway. Super cozy, clean, and peaceful—exactly what we were looking for. It felt tucked away in the woods but still really easy to get to, and just a few minutes down the road from Rough Cut Brewing, which was a big plus. We loved being able to grab some beers, then come back and relax inside. Darla was a great host—friendly, but gave us plenty of space. Would totally stay again next time we’re in the area!

The a-frame was beautiful! So aesthetic and cozy, my gal friends and I had a wonderful trip. The neighbors are super friendly and Mister, the neighborhood dog, was so cute! He even went on a walk with us. The area was very quiet and rural, definitely the location we needed to relax and restore ourselves in nature! Thank you so much!

"This feels like home already." That was my 8-year-old's response to this sweet Kerhonkson cottage, just one hour after we arrived. I could end my five-star review there but I'll add some perks listed and not listed, which we really enjoyed. Prime location. The cottage is within a 20-minute radius of so many wonderful spots. We come for the Bonticue Crag rock scramble but stay for Saunderskill Farm, Upstate Taco, Bluebird Wine and Spirits and so much more. The creek. My kids walked there barefoot and sunned on the rocks. If you're lucky: farm fresh eggs are sold on the honor system on the main road just past the creek. The shower. You'll see. Smaller perks: The back deck gets great sun. So much closet/drawer space to organize your stuff. Lighting options galore, and almost all of them on dimmers. Sonos sound system and a charging station. The cozy office space, in case you have to "check in" or if you just want some alone time. Thank you, Consuelo! We'll be back.

Had a wonderful time staying at Kim’s place — cozy, quaint, and did the job for our weekend getaway. It’s clear that she thinks of the little things, and we really felt like we were in someone else’s carefully curated space. A couple things to note: the heat was quite loud (and I’m a light sleeper), so we ended up turning it off at night. Probably less of an issue in the summertime! Similarly, we had the luck of being rained out most of our visit. The lighting in the cabin is a little precarious for those late nights or cloudy days. Lastly, and this may be partially operator error, but the blinds didn’t really offer a ton of privacy and appeared see-through at night. The location itself was peaceful and secluded, but it’s something to keep in mind if you prefer that extra privacy.

Comfortable stay in a nice area.

We had a perfect long weekend at Steven's cottage. It is bigger than it looks in the photos and was immaculately clean when we arrived. Steven was extremely responsive to all our questions and needs. The place is incredibly peaceful, a 2 min walk from the lake, on a private road where Steven owns all three houses. It was so relaxing and rejuvenating to spend time at this oasis with my partner and our best friends. There's a lot to love, but the best part is that the house comes with a private deck and dock, and unlimited access to various boats, to make your lake weekend whatever you want it to be. We loved that we could take our dogs to play fetch off the dock and not worry about getting in anyone's way or having to share any space. It was a great stay and we hope to go back!

Booked the red cabin for a long weekend on Lake Ontario. We had great access to the lake and were able to come back to a hot shower, full kitchen, and even had time to build a fire. All you need in one convenient cabin. Beware that the dock/ramp was very shallow. I have a bass boat and was able to get into it but might be more difficult in a larger vessel. Good news is that the cabins have an external outlet to plug in the boat batteries. Connie was great at keeping us updated and gave clear instructions for check in-check out. Highly recommend! (Especially for Anglers)

Beautiful, comfortable home. Went up for a few days of peace and quiet and got exactly what we were looking for. The cottage is well stocked, clean, and cheerful. Clear instructions made check in/out and getting around the area a breeze. The stream out back burbled like something out of a fairytale and was the perfect background noise for a countryside getaway.

We had the best time at Raspberry Ridge. So cute, cozy and comfortable. Beautiful grounds. Perfectly stocked kitchen for cooking. Loved having all the animals around. Extra bonus was fresh farm eggs for breakfast in the morning. Hosts were really responsive and wonderful. Didn't want to leave, honestly. A very welcoming respite from a chaotic family week. I couldn't have chosen any better and highly recommend if you are looking for a true rural getaway. Next time I'm in the area visiting family I will definitely plan my trip around availability at this lovely stay.

Rest Co. lives up to its name , due to bad weather conditions we were unable to do the activities we had planned in the area , so we stayed in the cottage and got Rest! Chris was very responsive and helpful before and during our trip. The cottage was very cozy and we felt right at home . The drinks in the restaurant were yummy and the steak was TOP NOTCH! I’m sad due to the bad weather we didn’t swim or do fires/s’mores but I guess that just means we need to come back .

My bf and I stayed for a long weekend and absolutely loved the place! Super charming and homey and clean. Check in was extreamly easy and clear and so was checking out. Cora was the sweetest! Honestly, one of the best experiences we have ever had in an Airbnb. They keep everything you could need in the house, very very clean, hot tub was clean and easy to use. We happened to visit during a huge snow storm and the hosts were extreamly proactive and had the driveway plowed before we even thought about it and here was salt available and down. Very responsive and communicative! Wonderful experience all around would highly reccomend and will definitly be back!

The “Sunset Cottage” felt like a cozy home away from home. An extraordinary lake view from the bay window was the perfect center piece for this modest, quaint escape. Carol and Pete are extremely personable and caring. Their hospitality made this trip a breeze. I highly recommend them and this AirBnB.

Really enjoyed my stay and overall experience at The Base Cottage. Access / check-in was a breeze, signs for the property and where to park were clear (which was really appreciated given a late evening arrival) and the accomodations matched the description perfectly (a very charming place!). Just minutes away from the local attractions and great access to hiking spots in Southern High Peaks and elsewhere. Fully recommend.
