Located on Portage Lake in Chassell, MI, near Houghton with quick access to Michigan Tech University, this rustic family cabin is a great place for either an overnight stay or a longer getaway. It provides a great home base for travel in the Keweenaw peninsula! As a 1930s cabin with a sauna on the lake along with a great view, the focus is on the experience! We find guests who truly enjoy our place are flexible with rustic conditions (not looking for Holiday Inn Express) and young at heart!

Beautiful home with 4 bedrooms on the waterfront. This is the best you will find. All the amenities - fast wi-fi, 3 TVs (satellite), full size kitchen, washer/dryer, and plenty of parking near the snowmobile trail. Mont Ripley is right nearby for skiers. Two full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. New grill added on 6/19/2020. The home is being updated as needed. From new oven mitts to anything else needing an upgrade. Check out the pictures. Private, cozy, 1 bedroom loft style apartment. We live in the front unit but will give as much privacy as you need. Home located on the main road through Lake Linden, just 20 mins from Michigan Tech, 15 mins from Houghton and 10 mins from Calumet. The best thing about our location is how close we are to so many gorgeous spots, including a beach, playground, campground and Torch Lake. We have a two night minimum stay.

Welcome to a century old mining house! A Very comfortable home with a large double lot. Located in the middle of paradise with Lake Superior not far from us in any direction. Less than a 1/2 mile from the main snowmobile/Atv trail, close to Mont Ripley, Swedetown, Mont Bohemia. We are centrally located between Houghton (20 miles away), Copper Harbor (25 miles away) and Calumet (5 miles). A great value.
