Sundari Retreat

Serene and welcoming,Sundari Retreat was built in 2008 and is close to all amenities in Otaki. My home is bordering a very pretty farm and is sunny and private. Sundari is a self contained cottage on my property and is decorated in Balinese style with a bamboo ceiling and solid timber floors. The furnishings and artwork are also Indonesian as is the sub-tropical garden and deck area. Two minutes drive away are all the cafe's, restaurants,shops and heated swimmimg pool. You will find a boutique movie theatre in Waikanae, 15 mins drive from Otaki. 5mins walk to Skintech Beauty clinic for great massages/nails etc. 10 mins drive to Te Horo , head towards the beach and you will find Kirsty's bus stop cafe in Sims Rd. The bus is situated amid a gorgeous coastal garden. Kirsty is an ex deli owner and caterer. I guarantee you won't be able to resist her treats! Head off to the beach,walk in the bush,play golf, go mad in the outlet shops or do nothing at all! What ever you need to relax and spoil yourself, the choice is yours! Soak in the outside bath under the stars! Fabulous brick outside fireplace is also great for cosying up to under the stars. If there are 3 of you I do have a very comfortable retro caravan on the section that can be hired for an extra cost. That person would have to use the studio bathroom facilities. A continental breakfast is included in the room rate. "Lynbre Lodge"is situated on a lifestyle block just north of Otaki with views over looking farmland. Cafes, beach & nature walks are all near by. Manakau Market which offers great coffee Burgers Pizza and much much More. The Quarter Acre Cafe opens once a month with dining fro. around the world. Take a trip up the end of the Rd for nature walks. Otaki has lots of outlet stores plus the Otaki Markets on a Sunday. Jamboree restaurant at Tatum has lunch & meals from Weds to Sun. Levin 10m.

Beach Pod - Waikawa Beach -North Island

It's rare to find a place that's both historic and one of a kind. This tiny home started out as the Koru Valet Parking Office at the Wellington Airport. It took 3 trucks, 2 hiabs and 3 pilots to transport the building to Waikawa Beach. Originally, it was used as a holiday beach hut, but we decided to make it a holiday home and put in a kitchen space, toilet, and shower. We lived here for 7 months until our house was complete. The Pod has been totally renovated, waiting for guests to enjoy.

Frankie's place

We have the perfect spot for resting on your way to or from Wellington. You will stay amongst the fruit trees. The birdlife is great. Our tiny home is on our section 20mtrs from our house. You have your own separate entrance & parking space. we are 5 min north of Otaki, 10 min from Levin & Waikawa Beach . The Manakau Market & The Greenery garden centre are close. We are a family of five and especially in summer we spend a lot of time outside so expect the normal sounds of family life.

Harakeke Cottage

We'd love to host you in our cute, fully self-contained guest cottage in rural Tokomaru. This little (but spacious) house has everything you need including full cooking facilities (stove, oven/ microwave, dishwasher, fridge, utensils), all linen, washer/dryer, Sonos sound system to play your own music and free wifi. Less than 20 minutes to Palmerston North and 10 minutes to Massey University & Linton Army camp.
