Our 3 night stay here was great. Perfect location, supermarket close by and could walk to any attraction easily. Very comfortable and the wine, biscuits and other provisions were much appreciated.

We had a great time staying at Ben’s flat. It has everything you need and is simple, clutter-free and clean. Instructions for entering and parking were clear, the property feels very secure as there are 3 levels of code-entry doors from street to flat and the location is great for exploring York. 15-20 minute walk to the Shambles and centre of town and great local restaurants (really recommend Valentino’s 5 mins walk away and Ate O’Clock 15 mins walk away). A great flat in a great location, with a helpful host. Thank you!

it was our first time to visit York ans we had a wonderful stay at Mark and Donna's place!! The apartment had everything we needed — it was well-equipped, cozy, and felt very safe. They provided a handbook with instructions and recommendations. The location was perfect with easy access to the city centre, making it convenient for exploring. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

We were particularly impressed at your thoughtfulness in leaving a welcome basket. Apart from the initial slight difficulty in access at the gate, once we had the fob, all was well. The showers were really good with a strong flow of water. Also, we were lovely and warm. The private parking was very useful. The flat is situated near the station, restaurants and takeaways and with easy access to the city centre. We would love to stay again should we return to York.

Absolutely lovely place. Exactly as described. Everything we needed. Only place for 1 car per apartment, but was easy to find another carpark. 15 minute walk straight down main road leading into the centre. Would definitely recommend, and would stay again.

What a fab house this is. We stayed for 6 weeks and did not want to leave. Jo was always on hand if we needed anything but the house is so well set up that we rarely did. The location is fab on a quiet back street but a COOP, Indian and nice bar all within a few mins walk. The house is really well presented and has everything you’d need for a short or longer stay. The hot tub is a great addition and the garden feels really private. All the bedrooms are a great size and perfect for couples. I can’t rate this place highly enough! Full 5 stars from us!

Brilliant place, all the facilities were great, location was brilliant and the host was responsive and helpful.

The house is situated an easy walk from the station and a short walk into the centre of York, in a very quiet street. Parking is immediately outside. Dawn gave plenty of information before we got there and checked all was ok during our stay. The house was spotlessly clean and very well appointed. The beds are very comfortable and the linen and towels are good quality. There were lots of nice touches such as a bottle of Prosecco, biscuits, milk and toiletries. Altogether an ideal home from home for a stay in York.

Ian was a great host. excellent communication at all times. The house was in a good location within close proximity of shops, pubs and restaurants of Harrogate. Would definitely book again when visiting Harrogate.

Loved our stay, it was even nicer in person than the photos! Beautiful property with gorgeous decor, tonnes of space, the kitchen was well stocked with pans, utensils etc. Smooth check in and easy walk into the town centre :)

The Coach House is a full building with private of street parking for one car flight outside. Great instructions with easy access. Inside, the smaller double and en-suite has the complete ground floor. Upstairs the huge queen bedded room has the main bathroom immediately opposite. The lounge is immense with space for all to sit at table or lounge in front of the 60 inch TV Smallish kitchen has everything you need. Annalisa was helpful and friendly from the outset with restaurant recommendations, great directions, and an impressive welcome pack. Plenty of power sockets for phones etc.

Fantastic place to stay, very central, extremely clean and well equipped. Host was very communicative even giving us a location of a super market we could stop at on our way so we weren’t hunting for one. Felt very welcome and would definitely recommend this host if you are heading to York.

Great little 1 bedroom flat and lovely hosts. The flat feels very spacious, modern and clean. Richard and Caroline are very helpful and friendly. I’d highly recommend this place. Walking distance to train station, bus stop, local pub and canal.

Diane’s apartment was delightful. Tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. It was comfortable and warm and had everything we needed for our stay and is the best holiday accommodation we have stayed in. It is conveniently situated in the centre of Malton with a designated parking space. The only thing we might say is that, if you have a big vehicle, parking can be a bit tight. Thank you Diane.

Ideal location within 15 minutes walking of everything you want to do within the city centre. Perfect base for exploring. Secure, private parking an added bonus. Apartment had everything needed for any length of stay and was a clean comfortable space for relaxing at the end of busy days exploring. Hosts were super helpful, proactively recommending places to eat/drink and things to do and all communications were quick and easy.

Pretty neighbourhood, close to parks and shops and central York, and very walkable. The flat was clean and tidy and very comfortable. There were instructions in the flat for WiFi and heating, which Vic had already sent us, it was private and quiet.

Couldn’t recommend Elaine’s place enough! Excellent central location in York with views of the river. Down a quiet side street away from traffic noise. Loads of information about things to do, etc, in the apartment. Really comfortable beds, very clean. Elaine left some pain au chocolats for breakfast which was lovely!

Set in a super safe gated area and only a short walk from the centre of York (and 5 mins from a fabulous brunch spot Partisan), Amanda’s place is spacious and bright with a big lounge and spotless kitchen. Very clean and tidy with just the one bathroom (slight problem with the hot water but we could have read instructions better) would highly recommend her place.
