Take it easy at this unique getaway. Spend your days hiking the backyard trails (25 acres behind the house!), swimming or paddle boarding on the lake with a private dock (lake is a 2 minute walk down the driveway!), or traveling to near by coastal towns like Bar Harbor (Bucksport was voted #1 small coastal town in USA!). For dinner, stop by one of the lobster shacks just down the road to bring home your fresh Maine lobster! Come and disconnect (or stay connected if you’re working remotely!).

Your Home away from home

2 miles from the waterfront concerts! Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place, including Acadia National Park which is about an hour drive. I allow 10 people at the house for families that want to be together, however please don't book this house if you think it's designed to sleep 10 people. There are 3 bedrooms with 3 beds, you will be setting the additional beds up yourself unless you ask me to set them up for you and I would be happy to!

The house is located in Ellsworth Maine and although shops, restaurants, local lakes, Acadia National Park and area attractions are only a quick drive away, the home feels soothing, very safe, secluded and welcoming to all.

A quick twenty minute drive to Bangor and all it has to offer and under an hour to get to world renowned Acadia national park makes this property great for all of your Maine adventures. Listen to the loons sing as you sip your coffee in the morning. Swim and fish right off the dock or use the kayaks if your feeling adventurous!
