The house is located in untoucted nature next to a field on Brennistaðir farm, about 20 km from Egilsstaðir in the direction to Borgarfjörður eystri. The farm is sheep farm. We live about 400 m distance from Ásinn. Fully equipped kitchen, small sitting room, spacious bathroom (washing machine and dryer), 4 bedrooms. Good looking view, cairns, bird live, streams, family-friendly environment in peaceful nature.

Sumarhúsið Flóra er einstakt, íslensk og gamaldags, 12 km frá Egilssstöðum, staðsett efst og í enda í sumarhúsabyggðinni. Einstaklega gott og fagurt útsýni yfir dalinn og Lagarfljótið. With two bedrooms, one double bed and two single beds, dining and sitting area, with t.v and free wifi, well equipt kitchen. Large patio with outdoor furniture and bbq. Ideal for a quiet holiday in the countryside with beautiful hiking grounds, a geothermal hot tubs a short walk away and nature all around, and spectacular view of the northen lights during winter.

Our house is located in a quiet residential area, a cozy and bright house made from wood. We offer comfortable beds and quality bedding. The kitchen is fully equipped and you should be able to find everything you need. In our area you can find guided glacier and riding tours. You could visit Vestrahorn and go to the Hot tubs in Hoffell. Other fascinating places that we recommend are Fláajökull, Heinabergsjökull and Hoffellsjökull. Suitable for big groups / families.

The cottage is located near the owner’s farm with lovely views over the nearby stream to the mountains behind. It is around 12 Km from Egilsstaðir and is well situated for exploring the spectacular nature of East Iceland. The farm offers horse riding.
