Angela's place was a wonderful warm and welcoming place for our family to stay over Easter. The sunsets over the water and into the living room were divine! we really loved hanging in the living room and on the front deck watching the birds and boats and listening to the gentle waves. the kitchen was well-equipped for a large group and we enjoyed cooking there. The house had a lovely family feel with extra touches like linen doonas and throws and fresh flowers in vases. there are interesting walks and lookouts and good coffee near by!

There were three generations staying in this lovely cottage. Everybody had a spacious room. The cottage was very well equipped with spare pillows, blankets, kitchen appliances (incl microwave) and extra condiments, coffee of all kinds etc. I walked every morning in the area, very peaceful and lots of flowers in the gardens. Great park just 2 blocks away. 10 min walk to the main street with shops and cafes. 10 min by car to CBD and really EASY drive via HWY... It is a central location for travelling further out of Hobart. There was a collection of books and enormous collection of DVDs. We had a great time and I would stay there again.

This place was beautifully styled, with comfortable beds and couches and modern and clean amenities. The view and surroundings were stunning. It felt so peaceful and luxurious. Macy was responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Impeccable space and delightful design! Perfect for a solo traveler or a couple, we would happily stay again. Comfortable (firm but not hard) bed, good quality linens, just enough of everything you need in the kitchen, and zero clutter but still with amazing character. Loved it. Great location for day trips to Bruny island, and many many options for bushwalks either straight outside your door, or a short drive. Also great access to Hobart and not far from MONA - a must visit!

We enjoyed the house and area for an extended family trip. Lots of room and activities at the house. Kids loved the painting spot, and the short walk to fish off the jetty. Some nice foreshore walks, with a well formed track to Verona Sands. Thanks

Clean, tidy and comfortable warm home (with use of wood heater) and a beautiful spot on the Huon. Great fishing from the front of the home... caught a very tasty gummy shark using a drone. I would gladly stay at this property again.

Spent two nights at 20 Grosvenor Street and would very happily spend more. The cottage is tastefully done, cosy and has everything you will need. Very walkable to a host of places to eat and a stone's throw from Woolworths. If you are looking to stay in Sandy Bay this is ideal.

Beautiful location and an amazing place to get away and relax. Best thing is that you can do it with your fur friends. They were equally relaxed and loved the beach.

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay at Sven & Tracy’s Grappa Court Penthouse! The apartment is exceptionally spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed. The location is perfect for those wanting to explore North Hobart and surrounds. Sven and Tracy have been lovely hosts, so easy to deal with and all communication has been prompt and handled professionally. We would recommend this apartment to anyone, and would love to stay again sometime in the future!

We are 3 ladies who stayed at Sussex for 2 nights prior to doing the Three Capes Walk. The place was excellent for us, as we had 3 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.. We had a lovely sitting area to sit and chat. Superb location Walking distance to the Salamanca and Ferry areas. The area felt safe. The bedrooms were quiet to sleep at night. Perfect for us. I would highly recommend this place to family and friends.

My only regret is staying just one night! What a comfortable, clean, modern space. The kitchen was beautiful and well stocked. The air conditioning worked very well in our very minor heat wave. Julian was clear with instructions on parking and accessing the building which I really appreciated. We will for sure be back.

The place was so serene and exactly what I was looking for to recharge. Scottie was super responsive and was very warm. He even arranged to feed sheep and the place felt right at home but with a breathtaking view. Will definitely be coming back and probably staying longer

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old School House. We traveled with a 5 month old who was very well catered for. The accomodation is charming, very comfortable and clean. Communication with the hosts was very responsive and clear, going above and beyond to ensure we had enjoyable stay. The accommodation is a 15 min walk down to Salamanca Place and Fishermans wharf providing easy access to shops and restaurants. Sandy Bay shops are about a 7 min walk. We will definitely stay again.

This place is amazing!! So beautifuly decorated with many personal touches and delicious home-made treats. Everything about it is spot on and in a beautiful, tranquil, country setting. Hosts are super friendly - we enjoyed our chats & walks through the gardens. Can highly recommend it... we hope to be back!

Everything was taken care of. Loved it. The location, near Cornelian Bay was great. we can recommend The Boatshed as a place to eat.

Miro and Edina were absolutely wonderful hosts; warm, friendly and very thoughtful. They were also very responsive with any communication in the lead up to our stay. The place was clean and very well appointed and the location was central to many of Hobart’s key attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone! We felt right at home when we stepped in the doors. The place is bright and spacious in the living room and kitchen areas. Very clean and the kitchen is well equipped. There were plenty of places to sit for 6 of us and a lovely deck and outdoor seating also available. Plenty of hot water and the bedding are clean and comfy. Overall a great home to comeback to after a day of travelling around Hobart. The host is very friendly and reaches out very early to offer recommendations and assistance. Very close to Cascade Brewery and Mount Wellington. Highly recommended !

This is a fabulous period home with some gorgeous updates to kitchen/dining family rooms and upstairs primary bedroom and en-suite. The older parts of the house are very well maintained as well. Lots of home comforts here with ample kitchen wares to cook, a great coffee machine, brand new kitchen range, a full laundry room, and loads of fun games to play both indoor as well as on the beautiful river-front lawn. Peta-Jane answered all our questions within a few minutes and was delightful to work with. I would not hesitate in any way to recommend this beautiful home and the lovely owner :)

Wonderful stay, the property and grounds are amazing!! Hosts were super responsive and so helpful with my questions. They even helped connect us to some local services (ie babysitter and taxi). The industrial / farmhouse design was lovely. We were two couples with two small bubs. The only thing I’d call out for anyone travelling with children is the two ensuites open out to the rooms so hard to use the bathroom once your little one goes to sleep. Also need to bring blockout blinds as the en-suite windows don’t have blinds.

We loved it. It felt like arriving at home. The garden is magnificient, the plants inside are stunning. The kitchen is extremely well equipped to cook. The fire place is gorgeous. We have a great time.

very nice view, great house, quite place, great location if you drive the master bedroom is amazing with the bath and the view. only the pool is not clean and you do not want to jump in.

Fantastic host , made everything easy and was very accommodating to our families needs , awesome views and close to everything, sandy bay is a lovely spot Highly recommend Fay and her property 😊

Wow, we were literally speechless when we arrived. In real life even more spectacular and breathtaking, we were all in awe. It seems that so much care for detail and love when into designing this home, everything was so well thought out. It has all the amenities you need and more. We were planning on eating out at least one time but loved cooking and sitting by the fire so much that we fortunately decided to stay in instead. And taking a bath in this is house is probably the most memorable of all baths i have ever taken, you cant beat those views! Karen and Andrew were lovely hosts and very responsive and helpful. And to top everything off their wine is so good! This stay deverses a 10/10. Thanks Karen and Andrew for sharing this slice of heaven.
