Charming and Cozy in an amazing location! I plan to return in the summer and enjoy the beach, fire pit, rockhounding, watching the freighters and exploring. The location is a great launching point for many day trips within an hour or two of the cabin. And the beach access really is steps away from the door! We played outside all day and then played Catan and Uno at night. The kitchenette had everything we needed to prepare meals. There is an entertainment center set up with Roku and a dvd player with movies and some games. The beds were both very comfortable with quality linens and blankets and great pillows. The porch is darling, birdfeeders all around and lanterns and lights for night. Kelly was the perfect host, very quick to respond, knowledgeable of the area, and a pleasure to communicate with! I highly recommend this cabin for one or two people. Perfect for a cozy getaway, beach fun and day trips. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Our stay at the cabin on the private lakefront property was nothing short of amazing! The view of the lake, especially during sunset, was absolutely breathtaking. The property had everything we needed for a perfect getaway—lots of amenities, including provided firewood and fire starters, which made evenings by the fire so enjoyable. There were plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy right on the premises, making it the ideal spot for relaxation and adventure. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting!

I would highly recommend to stay here. beautiful scenery, had all the amenities that you could ask for. Very clean and comfortable . The host was very responsive and friendly. I will return :)

The bonfire at this house is truly amazing! In the early morning, you'll be gently awakened by the pleasant sound of wind chimes. The room's décor has a cozy cabin feel to it. It’s definitely spacious enough for five people, and we stayed here very comfortably.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Huron Helm and will definitely come back. Great care was taken to detail, the place was spotless and well-stocked. Katy and Tom thought of everything!

We had a lovely stay at Cody and Jenny’s place. The view was amazing, the sound of the waves were very soothing. It was nice to be able to sit back, relax and enjoy the view of the lake. The house looked just like the pictures and the view was spectacular. With the cooler temperatures outside the house stayed nice and warm inside. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to cook our meals and of course, morning coffee. The fire pit and the deck by the shoreline was a nice addition to the property. We spent time visiting different places in town and one of the local sandy beaches. Walking the shore line can be a little tricky with the big rocks but we were able to find some nice rocks to bring home. We will definitely be back again.

Very welcoming host. Space was comfortable and had everything we needed. The sauna was an awesome addition. View was beautiful. Very peaceful area. Other guests in the area but everyone is very peaceful and respectful. Will stay again!!! Bed was super comfortable!

Gregory’s place was amazing! With having the lake in your backyard and being 5 minutes from some great restaurants AND its basically next door to a fudge shop, it’s a 10/10. We would definitely stay at Gregory’s place again!!

It was just what we thought. Holiday weekend for our first trip. This was a convenient spot to come back to and relax. Very clean, comfortable. 4 Adults were not crowded. Owner responsive for a few questions. Happy with stay.

Bridget's place was spotless clean and the condo has a great view of Lake Huron. Check-in was easy and property manager Carol was very responsive to our questions. Bathrooms were thoughtfully stocked with toiletries that made our stay easy. Will definitely stay there again!

Breathtaking views for a lovely winter getaway! Plentiful surroundings for snowshoeing along the lake, through the wooded yard and enjoying deer sightings. Hugh was always responsive and friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bob’s place and loved the views and being able to walk on the beach, the games, the relaxation , the inside fire place the clean and comfortable and spacious living room, kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom. We had a smaller group than expected and definitely will be back. It was a wonderful time especially watching the Lions win! Thank you again for your warm hospitality and awesome location right on Lake Huron.

The house was clean and spacious with a beautiful view. Sunsets over the lake and watching ships sail by were highlights. The wrap around deck was great for relaxing while watching the kids play on the beach and jump the waves. Perfectly located to do day trips to the Soo Locks and Mackinac Island. Restaurants/bakery in town were awesome too!! I would highly recommend staying!!

Leo was a great host and was very responsive and helpful. His place was beautiful, that's undeniable. Having a beach right out the back and still being a short drive from many other lakes, trails, boat launches and more is perfect. I would definitely recommend Leo's place and will be staying again when I am back in the area. Great host, great spot!

Tom and Kitty were excellent! The island is gorgeous and the beach area is perfect. The water does not get too deep which was wonderful for the kids and my sanity. Perfect spot for a family getaway! They allowed us to use their kayaks, canoe and swimming platform. Tom also put out children at play signs which was such a thoughtful touch. All together an unforgettable family experience. Just lovely!

Great location to see the area attractions. Beautiful spot on the beach. The house was spacious and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to anyone interested in visiting the area.

GREAT is an understatement! Breathtaking views of the St. Mary's River and I'd think a photographer, wildlife enthusiast, or artist would really really love to be back there. I'd like to come back with just 1 other person or a couple and really relax and enjoy the place. We were road running alot for our hobbies and barely felt like we got to enjoy it like we should have. The setting is beyond serene, freighters passing by, nice beach with wildlife and walking, birds, and tranquility.

The location was priceless , beautiful log home overlooking Lake Huron. The wildlife was amazing . Watching the Bald Eagles and deer were our favorites. Made lots of memories with great family and friends. We will definitely return.
