Hilo: soggiorni in alloggi con posti a sedere all'aperto

La Whale House era anche meglio di quanto pubblicizzato! La posizione era facile da trovare e così bella! L'abbiamo usato come nostra casa lontano da casa per esplorare il Parco Nazionale dei Vulcani, la spiaggia di sabbia nera di Punalu'u, la cantina del vulcano e molteplici cascate. La nostra famiglia ha anche apprezzato il relax, la lettura e i sonnellini sul lanai e sulle amache. È stato un piacere esplorare il giardino sul retro. Anche le scogliere laviche erano molto belle!! David e Chrystal ci hanno fornito tutto il necessario e anche di più! La cucina era ben attrezzata: abbiamo preparato diversi pasti. Il frigorifero e l'attrezzatura da spiaggia sono stati utili quando abbiamo visitato la spiaggia di sabbia nera. Anche le biciclette sono state un bel bonus. Non abbiamo mai voluto andarcene e ci piacerebbe tornare presto!

questo posto è più di quanto descritto. È una proprietà incredibile, tranquilla e unica. Bellissimo posto e ambiente così terroso e verde. La vita notturna si anima di notte e tutti i suoni notturni ti fanno semplicemente dormire sonni tranquilli. La fantastica piscina è stata spettacolare e un enorme successo con i miei bambini. Anche le vasche idromassaggio sono fantastiche. Siamo molto felici del nostro soggiorno.

Confortevole, pulito, privato. Abbiamo apprezzato il nostro soggiorno di 11 giorni. Consiglio vivamente di soggiornarci.

La casa era in una buona posizione per il nostro piano. Eravamo vicini alla città, con ristoranti e negozi di alimentari. Eravamo pronti per una vacanza tranquilla e siamo stati sicuramente in grado di evitare la folla. Si trova vicino al vulcano Hilo e Kīlauea, che erano il nostro obiettivo principale. Ci siamo divertiti immensamente.

Soggiorno piacevole immerso nella natura - di notte è molto rumoroso, ma ci sono tappi per le orecchie sul comodino. ;) La pulizia era così così, era pulito. Il giardino è un vero paradiso e molto idilliaco e progettato con cura.

Questa è stata un'ottima base per visitare il Volcanoes NP, a breve distanza in auto dall'ingresso del parco, che era esattamente quello che stavamo cercando. Lo spazio abitativo era luminoso e spazioso e ha fatto sentire il nostro gruppo di 6 persone proprio come a casa, con ampio spazio a disposizione. Siamo rimasti sorpresi dalle grandi oscillazioni di temperatura anche all'interno della casa, quindi preparatevi a vestirvi caldamente in tarda serata e la mattina presto, ma la casa aveva anche un sacco di coperte e riscaldatori extra per aiutare.

Questo alloggio è davvero bello. Il gigantesco lanai è incredibilmente comodo per mangiare, leggere, guardare l'oceano o fare un pisolino, e la casa è pulita e confortevole e sembra più accogliente della media degli Airbnb. Ci è piaciuto molto svegliarci e vedere l'oceano, ci è sembrato un luogo magico che ricorderemo per sempre

Che spazio bellissimo! Tutto era perfetto e pulito, e io e i miei amici abbiamo avuto tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno! Si trova anche a 2 minuti a piedi da ristoranti e negozi, ma abbastanza lontano da non farti sentire come se fossi in "città". Adoro sempre trascorrere del tempo a Hilo: è una città fantastica per tante cose e questo è stato l'alloggio perfetto in cui soggiornare mentre ero lì! Nota per gli altri ospiti: ci sono 83 balene in questo posto, non abbiamo resistito alla tentazione di contarle! È così adorabile. Mahalo

We enjoyed our very short stay. Halford’s place was clean and comfortable and located about 40 minutes from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park which was our purpose for the visit. Halford was great in communicating with us. The only issue we had was that my gps service was not recognizing the road his house was on. Once we got that figured out everything was super. We would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay. The place is super clean and spacious. The town itself is quiet and near the water, and there are plenty of fun things to do just a short drive away. Robynne is a phenomenal hostess and was very helpful with recommendations. Her huskies are so sweet and well behaved and loved to say hi to us. I highly recommend staying here!!

Beautiful, small studio with everything you need. The room was very cozy and super clean. We even had a heating blanket and a small heater in the room for the nights. We were provided with a small breakfast, which was very kind! We would definitely come back!

The condo was extremely spacious and nicely decorated. The outdoor space also had very nice furniture and a view of the courtyard and pool!

Rhonda and Jeff were fantastic hosts! Their place was modern, spotless, cozy, and so thoughtfully set up. The small AC unit was surprisingly powerful—as long as the room door stayed open and the ceiling fan was on low, it stayed perfectly cool. They thought of everything: beach gear (chairs, towels, snorkels), bug spray, even an umbrella by the door. The bed was super comfortable, hot water was reliable, and the assigned parking spot was large and convenient. My husband also appreciated the outdoor cloths for cleaning gear. It’s a bit of a drive from Hilo and Keaau, so a vehicle is needed, but otherwise, it was a smooth and enjoyable stay. We’d absolutely recommend this Airbnb and would happily come back. Rhonda and Jeff are such thoughtful and lovely hosts—thank you both for your warm hospitality!

This was a lovely, peaceful Airbnb in a nice neighborhood immediately outside of Hilo. Gregory met us upon arrival to ensure that we had what we needed. The unit included everything that we could have needed and more, including a very well-stocked kitchen, yoga mats, guide books, and beach chairs. We could easily get to downtown Hilo within a ten-minute drive and return to the unit for a soak in the hot tub. We loved Hilo and would absolutely stay here again.

I stayed at their Pua Suite, which is located on the 2nd level, and the views looking out on their gorgeous landscape was amazing. On a clear day you can see Mauna Kea and every morning I was greeted by a beautiful rainbow outside the living room window. The unit was peaceful, relaxing and again, the views were stunning. The hosts were very friendly, responsive and had very clear instructions on how to get to their place. An added bonus: their front gate makes you feel like your entering your own estate.

Scott's place is a little remote area tucked away in Kehena. Walking distance is a beautiful black sand beach that was honestly the most beautiful one I visited during my time in Hawai'i. The accommodation itself was well maintained, and Scott was such a pleasure. He's so friendly and would chat me up and check in whenever he saw me walk up to the property. This is overall an excellent spot. Tip: Be a little prepared on your journey here -- depending on your provider you might not get service, so GPS is hard to come by. I also could not make calls or check texts, which wasn't so much an issue once I settled in. The Big Island is also, well, big, and it takes more than an hour to get to places from Scott's, but with a little planning, you can get by just fine!

This place was fabulous. Everything I had hoped it would be and more. The cove right at the condo was amazing. We walked out at night and got see the turtles. My favorite place so far. The host was awesome too. Hope we get to come back here someday.

I was there with my boyfriend for the week. The location was great! Within walking distance g distance to great restaurants and the best farmers market I’ve ever been to. The views are absolutely stunning. Watching the sunrise in the morning was so beautiful. We felt right at home. I would definitely stay there again! Thank you so much Carla and Joe! It was a little slice of heaven there.

This condo was beautiful and spacious. She left soooo many amenities we were blown away. Like sunscreen if you needed it, woman products, creamer in the fridge, chips and macadamia nut treats. Truly a wonderful well stocked condo, not to mention the stunning view from the deck. We will stay here again for sure! Mahalo for having us

The place was so cute and the lanai was amazing! The running water outside was so relaxing and there was perfect seating for lounging and hanging out. Everything was clean and very well set up for a small place. It provided the perfect place for the start of our honeymoon and very well located for us to get to everything we wanted to do. Definitely rent a car and explore the area!! If we visit Hilo again this will be the first place we look at!

We had a really nice stay ☀️ it is a very nice place, the lanai is so beautiful. You have a perfect view and you can hear the nature while falling asleep 😍 It was very clean and you can reach nice places within a short drive 👍🏻 Mahalo for a perfect stay in Hilo!

We had a great stay! Joe and Cindy were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout. The place was beautiful, well-stocked with everything we needed, and parking was super easy. Would definitely consider staying here again!
