My house is a couple of short miles from Hilo town and offers, quite simply, the best ocean front view possible. You will look down upon crashing waves and out across the Bay to Hilo and to the surfers gliding down the silver waves. The view is dramatic but relaxing. During whale season, this is the best possible location for viewing. Sometimes they come so close you can look into their eyes. The house is fully equipped and air-conditioned. . This will be your Pacific vacation to remember.

Apapane Cottage

🌺 Apapane Cottage – A Peaceful Rainforest Retreat Near Volcanoes National Park. Tucked away in the lush Hawaiian rainforest just minutes from Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park, Apapane Cottage is a serene haven designed for rest, reflection, and reconnection with nature. After a full day of hiking and sightseeing, unwind on the back lanai in the hot tub, surrounded by native forest. Keep an eye out for the brilliant red ʻApapane birds as they flit from tree to tree.

Kehena Beach Ocean Front Cliff House

This home is obviously unique and has even been featured on HGTV's Off Beat American & The Travel Channel, but it is the land itself that we fell in love with. This all-concrete house is ocean front and perched on a lava cliff at Kehena Point. The Point sticks out into the ocean further than the surrounding lava cliffs and offers unparalleled views of the coast in both directions. Watch whales in season (November-April), and walk to a black sand beach.

Hale Ho'okipa

This quiet mountain hide-a-way offers peace and serenity in a rural location close to Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. The private home has covered private lanais with eating areas, lounging areas and a fire pit. Interior spaces have a unique Hawai'ian vibe with sophisticated decor. Picture windows along the back side of the hale provide uninterrupted views into the rainforest. A full chef's kitchen provides a perfect space to prepare family meals.

Wai 'Olena - "Healing Ponds"

This extraordinary property is across the street from Hilo beaches, with multiple Ka Wai Ola, (Living Springs). Ocean views and the sweet sound of waves breaking. There are pristine ponds on the property where you can swim and lounge in privacy. A new security system looks out from the house to the grounds and street beyond. No cameras see the house or lanai.
