Rosie the Road Workers' Living Wagon

Situated in Upper Inverroy, near Roy Bridge, and with unbroken views to some of Scotland’s highest and most beautiful peaks, Rosie is ideally placed for visitors who are keen to explore the beautiful mountains, glens, lochs and coastal waters of Lochaber, the outdoor capital of the U.K. Rosie was built in 2019 upon an original early 1930’s road workers’ living wagon chassis. Situated in a private position adjacent to our house, Rosie looks out towards  the magnificent Grey Corrie mountains.

It is secluded within trees in a farming environment, providing a peaceful getaway close to the many spectacular attractions of the Loch Ness area. It has been finished to a very high standard (full kitchen and plumbed-in toilet/ shower-room), while exhibiting a bespoke rustic style. A perfect haven for a relaxing break in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, the location featured in the Outlander TV show.

Here is our new well kitted out Pod.It has underfloor heating,hot water,two ring induction hob,fridge/freezer,kettle,toaster,fixed double bed,and sofa bed.For your comfort it has toilet,wash hand basin and shower.Also WiFi,alexa, tv/dvd,amazon fire stick (netflix/childrens tv etc).It is very comfortable and cosy, with super soft fluffy fleece bedding and a pure wool duvet. It also has a bbq area with seating and fire pit for chilled out evenings. The pod is at the end of a quiet village.

Our quirky, cute shepherd's hut sits in a semi-wild orchard next to our house, and near to an historic mill. It is ideal for one or two people and comes equipped with a comfortable double bed, a folding table, a small kitchen area with a microwave, kettle and toaster and a tiny private bathroom, with a hot shower. Outside, the decking provides a space to relax. The BBQ provides an option for dinner. Drinking water is from a tap on the side of the hut.
