Highland Council: soggiorni in alloggi al lago

We have stayed at Burnside several times. It is a large warm, comfortable house and has easy access for our elderly father. The large picture window makes the most of the beautiful loch view. This is a great place for walking on Skye, Applecross, Killin and nearby. The large front, well kept lawn is enclosed and was greatly appreciated by my dog! We had an amazing time and had almost perfect warm and sunny weather all week! We'll undoubtedly be back.

A fantastic house with everything you could need for a relaxing escape to Perthshire. Very comfortable beds and sofas for after a long day out. Asda delivery really helped as well! Loved the private beach at the end of the road- nice to sit and relax.

We hebben een fantastische paar nachten gehad bij "Dail an Fheidh" het huisje van Elizabeth. Wat een prachtig huisje die aan alles voldeed, het uitzicht en wakker worden tussen de herten is magisch! Een supermarkt is niet om de hoek maar als je van tevoren je boodschappen doet of met het voetgangerspondje naar de overkant gaat maakt het heel niet uit. Na een tip van de host een heerlijke pizza gegeten bij een brouwerij op 15 min rijden. Er is veel te zien en te doen in de omgeving zoals Glenfinnan en Loch shiel en de Ben Nevis. Een plekje om tot rust te komen en te genieten, een plekje om zeker te onthouden en aan te raden voor iedereen!

Sian gave clear instructions on how to find the accommodation and was always willing to help in anyway. The accommodation had everything you need to make you feel like you were at home. The covered area in the back garden was a place where you could relax after a busy day travelling or looking round the local area. We had a great week at Sian’s home and it was a good base for seeing the local attractions. Many Thanks Sian

We LOVED our stay here. As others have said, the views are just incredible every direction you look! It was amazing to watch the sunset looking out to the loch. We walked into Dornie a couple of times and drove over to Skye very easily. Amazing location and sooo beautiful, would not hesitate to recommend or come back ourselves

The space was perfect for us. The kids loved the big garden and access to the beach. The house is cosy and views are breathtaking. Beds are comfortable and generally the house felt like a home for our holiday. Had great fun with the table tennis.

What a magical location! In the heart of the countryside and wildlife galore!! Lived sitting in the gorgeous living room with the stove on looking out the window. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Très bel emplacement pour cet appartement. Il s’agit bien d’un appartement parmi d’autres dans l’abbaye. Belle vue sur le loch ness.

Lovely little apartment located in a great spot on the river. We stopped in one night and ended up getting a pint and dinner at the waterfront which was a minute down the road - highly recommend. For the apartment, it was very cozy and served us well. Our experience was enhanced by Rebecca who went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Overall great stay and recommend to all.

Nous avons passé trois nuits fabuleuses dans l'appartement de Sarah. Outre la vue (aussi magnifique que sur les photos), il est grand, confortable et particulièrement bien équipé. Parfaitement situé pour rayonner dans les Highlands, bref à recommander sans hésiter !

5 Stars – A Tranquil Landing in Broadford Our stay in Broadford was everything we hoped for—peaceful, scenic, and well located for exploring the magic of Skye. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and felt like a welcoming pause between adventures. Communication was excellent, and the setting was ideal for rest and reflection. Highly recommended for anyone seeking both beauty and ease on the island.

Christopher's flat is in a great location, just a short walk to the shops, restaurants and sea front. The flat was spotless and lovely and cosy. I'll definitely book again if it's available the next time I'm working in the area.

this was set in the most beautiful location, really easily accessible to all of glencoe and fort william's beautiful surroundings. apartment had everything we needed and was comfy we would definately book again thank you

We have nothing but wonderful memories to take home from our stay at Obbe View. The house was tidy and equipped with everything we could need, the location was ideal and the view spectacular. We won’t hesitate to come back! Thank you Michelle for your hospitality.

Wonderful cottage with some great history to it. When I finally sat down at the water front and had a glass of wine I really gave in to how beautiful and wonderful this place is. Great view of the mountains and so many neat little touches to the property. The kids loved looking for sea glass and watching the tides come in and out. The games cupboard was a huge hit with the kids as well as the bunk beds with a full shelf of books. Such a great place to really get a good feel for the area and the history.

Thank you Frances! It was wonderful staying with you. We were only here for one night, but in that time we really enjoyed it. Frances was very helpful and helped us get from Port Appin to the accommodation, which is not a given. We would recommend anyone to come here. For those who want to experience Scotland's nature away from the tourist crowds, this is the place to be.

Absolutely brilliant location with spectacular views, the cottage was very private and peaceful, host was very informative and very helpful! Would definitely recommend!

Gorgeous well located cottage, opposite the Lochness hub (info centre) & bang in the middle of the village next to the green. Kate is a lovely responsive host, who adds a personal touch. It was the first time a host left dog treats, tennis ball, blankets & bowls for our dog too, which was so lovely. The cottage is well equipped, charming, with lovely decor. Garden to right is an absolute sun-trap, we could sit out in T-shirts in April with a beer. We spent most of our days hiking 13k+, first we did from the cottage, second drove to Glen Affric. We had a beautiful take out from the Chinese & brought back pizza from the Italian. The Fiddler’s won’t allow dogs in, you must sit outside so we only did lunch there, but one night we had a lovely meal (booked ahead) at the Lockness inn 15 min walk away. If we’d been back from hiking sooner the cafe on the green would have been a good option too, it serves beer & has a nice garden. You won’t regret booking this gem, Thanks Kate :)

Our stay was short but lovely the place was neat, everything was well explained. We still made a mistake finding the location but totally our fault, yet Bart was there to help! The house location is really nice totally worth the visit assigned parking for the car was a huge plus. Thank you for hosting us

From the personal greeting as we arrived, decaf coffee as discussed, plenty of local information and always being on hand as well as ensure we had privacy. comfortable bed. Excellent kitchen. it took me 4 days to realise there was no microwave. Not that I needed it . Outdoor seating at Loch, in bothy garden as well as the back catching the sunshine. Highly highly recommended xx

Que dire de ce petit havre de paix sur lequel le coup de cœur avec ma famille a été immédiat ! Une maison où l’on se sent chez soi, avec des équipements de qualité (cuisine, literie, salle de bain etc). Tout est pensé avec soin et décoré avec délicatesse. La maison sent bon la douceur, avec une petite attention gourmande à notre arrivée. Les vues sur les extérieures sont incroyables. Un foyer au milieu des champs, des animaux, de l’eau… Bref, une maison dont nous continuerons de rêver encore longtemps et dans laquelle nous souhaiterions revivre nos jolis moments en famille rapidement !
