Maple Leaf Cottage - a stay for all seasons

Sled trails are open... We are perfectly nested in a beautiful country setting with pull in driveway with a large area for parking. Plenty of FREE firewood for the firepit for relaxing around a fire in the evening under the stars. Maple Leaf is centrally located 1 hour or less to U.P. attractions. South Manistique Lake which is 2 miles north of cottage. You can access the trails from the south of cottage 300 feet on a scenic trail in the woods about 2 miles turn left or right to find the trails.

Enjoy a unique experience at this bright, clean apartment, located 0.3 miles from downtown Manistique. Shopping, dining, taverns, a winery, coffee shops, laundromat, and a movie theater all within a 5 minute walk. Also found downtown are local ATV/ snowmobile trails with free municipal parking for trailers. Local attractions such as Manistique’s lighthouse, boardwalk, marina and Lake Michigan are 0.6 miles from your doorstep. This 1 bedroom apartment offers a king bed and a queen air mattress.

Cabin on lake w no public access. Owners out of sight and sound. Great pike fishing on supplied jonboat and 4 kayaks. Wood-burning sauna next to cabin. Lake Michigan beach and boat access 5 minutes away. 45 minutes to Pictured Rocks, 20 minutes to Kitch iti kipi, 25 minutes to La Fayette State Park. 12v batteries supply a bit of power and a few lights. Pets are welcome except on beds and futon :) Silverware, utensils, propane and firewood provided. You'll need ice, food, and drinking water.

We encourage and cater to silent-sport type of guests as we have kind and close neighbors on all sides. This is a small log cabin located approximately 10 miles from downtown Marquette in a quiet neighborhood. Its nestled in the woods where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest but is still in close proximity to hiking, biking, cross country ski trails, and Marquette Mountain for downhill skiing and all Marquette has to offer. It is approximately 3 miles from the snowmobile trail and can be accessed using Green Garden Road. A very easy ride to the trail.
