The Waffle House: Historic Full Downtown Apartment

The apartment is called Waffle House because it was the home of Waffle House founder Joe Rogers. The space is a full apartment with kitchen, laundry, living room, bathroom and bedroom with a separate entrance. Located on W Deaderick it’s just a short walk to Restaurants , Farmer's Market, and Hub City Brewing. I am the brewmaster at Hub City Brewing & Rock’n Dough Pizza + Brewery, and my wife works for Hitachi Energy. We live in the downstairs unit so are nearby if there is anything you need.

The property is on the Tennessee-Mississippi state line in the small town of Guys, TN. There are no stop lights, no hustle and bustle you are in the heart of the country. Guests are just minutes away from several attractions including Crazy K wedding venue, Springhill Farm wedding venue, Corinth, MS, Shiloh National Battlefield, Magnolia Hospital, Big Hill Pond State Park, and Pickwick Lake. All 10-25 min away. Magnolia hospital is 9 miles away. Extra charge for garage for boats and trailer.

Mother-in-law’s quarters is a private space attached to main house with front and back covered porches and private entrance with NO STAIRS. Porch and grill are available to guests. Golf cart available upon request for a ride in the neighborhood and around the farm or up to the pond. On a clear night, you can see the stars forever!

Guests are close to everything when they stay at this centrally-located vintage Post Office Reno Apartment. Graceland in Memphis, The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Discovery Park in Union City, and nature’s wonder Reelfoot Lake in Tiptonville, TN, are all day trip excursions! Looking for something closer, Beech Bend Park and Picnic area is just a short 6.1 miles away. Decaturville with its small town feel has much to offer with festivals and various street happenings throughout the year.
