Hayward is known for it's world class events including the American Birkebeiner, the fat tire bike race, the Lumberjack World Championships and the honor the earth pow wow. Home of the world record Muskelunge, we are surrounded by numerous lakes for water sports and fishing.

Relax with family and friends at a Northwoods retreat. The cabin is a newer build at the end of a quiet road near the start line for the Prince Haakon cross country ski race. Connect to CAMBA mountain bike and American Birkebeiner Nordic ski trails from the front door, through private trails and the Mosquito Brook trailhead. There is access to snowmobile trails 9 and 15 and plenty of truck and trailer parking. Round Lake and other area lakes are nearby for ice fishing. We are about 5 miles from the Birkie trail parking and access.
