Coro Camping, Coromandel

Coro Camping is a totally private eco camping site with your own river pool, hidden away in the beautiful and peaceful Rangihau valley near Coroglen. Close to all the popular beaches with great biking and tramping on your doorstep. Our season runs from the beginning of December to the end of March. A 2-person cosy, insulated cabin with the option for a king bed or singles arrangement . An ideal place to unwind and take a break from the stress of city life. It's secluded, quiet, private, surrounded by bush and mountains, with private parking and a river just down the road. Beautiful sunsets and star-filled nights, close to the Karangahake Gorge and the nearby towns of Waihi, Paeroa, and Waihi Beach. BBQ available, fridge, microwave, cutlery, crockery, linen and towels provided.

Tawharanui 890 Studio.

This is a comfortable,small fully contained stand alone Studio in a farm setting.Situated nearby to beautiful beaches, and the Tawharanui Regional Park where you can take bush walks and trails.On dusk you are able to spot kiwi in the Regional Park, which is very special.If you are attending a Wedding here in Tawharanui this is a perfect location being so very close to the Venue.Ideal for cyclists also as there is a large barn where you can leave your bikes securely and dry.

The Bus Depot.

The Bus Depot is a rustic retreat overlooking the beautiful firth of Thames. A beautifully restored 1979 Bedford bus which has all the modern comforts but still retains original features of the bus, this area has sleeping for two along with kitchen area, fridge, gas stove and a dining area on the covered deck. From the daybed to the loft space or going for a walk on the farm or just sitting in front of the fire you can enjoy the views at this outstanding location.

Overlooking farmland and Hot Water Beach, you can enjoy the view from the comfort of your bed. You'll be close enough to the beach to hear the waves crashing and even hear kiwi in the nearby bush. Misty Mountain Hut - Piha

A tiny isolated hut amidst Kauri and Rimu trees to escape the world, self check in. Outdoor Fire, long drop, outdoor hot shower/bath. Surrounded by Tuis and Wood pigeons the hut is close to Piha and Karekare…or simply stay and enjoy nature. Beaches are 10 minutes away by car. Grocery shopping and gassing up recommended beforehand. Misty Mountain Hut supports local Piha staff by paying $40/hr.
