The Roosevelt

I built this cabin in 1989, this property has a lot of history, it was part of the land that my father in law acquired from the Roosevelt program, I believe that was in 1932, he was one of the few original settlers. we have 25 acres we are in process of making walking trail that will wind back and forth through the entire property. will be a good chance of seeing all kind of wildlife including deer turkey, squirrels and all kind of birds. Farm Charm is a great way to describe this house and the surrounding area. Its a country setting with plenty outside room for children to run and play. The porch is a great asset with, rocking chairs, picnic table, barbecue pit for grilling. Inside is decorated with a morden flair. All beds have new comfortable mattresses in a very spacious size room. The fully stocked kitchen is perfect for cooking for your family. However, many guest dine out and visit Calloway Gardens.

This is a working farm, and we have chickens, cows, goats, a pig, as well as a German Shepard. You’re welcome to take strolls on our property and enjoy all nature has to offer. Deer and turkey can often be spotted in the mornings and evenings from the back porch. No hunting is allowed.
