Gloria was an amazing host and her home was outstanding! Beautiful home, even better views, many activities to do, close proximity to stores, private and quite, except for a rooster that was roaming the property (which we thought was cool to see). All my kids did was play outside the entire trip, not one iPad was watched. We will be back for sure!

The place was exactly as described! Easy to find and clear instructions for check in and check out. The location was very quiet, peaceful and beautiful. The river was so pretty! Our daughter (and us) loved watching the geese, ducks and cranes everyday. The patio and balcony were perfect to sit out and relax. The kitchen had everything we needed. Very tastefully decorated. Beds were so comfy! Neighbors very friendly too. This is close to VA beach about 25-30 min drive. There were several grocery stores and restaurants nearby. We enjoyed Virginia Zoo about 15 min away. The owners are extremely friendly and quick to respond to us. We highly recommend this condo and the owners!

Stayed here for a weekend fishing trip. Everything was great! Very serene and beautiful surroundings, the house fully equipped with everything you need to go fishing. We even went out of our comfort zone and tried out the canoes. It was an all-around good experience. The location is not too far from beaches great restaurants, and also a casino. For a small intimate family gathering. The Host sent an extensive and well thought out list of everything you can think of, from to how to get there & what to do when you’re there also he was very responsive.

Absolutely loved the home and the whole experience! Our only issue was in our arrival and not being aware that high tide would impact when you should attempt getting to the house. More information regarding the tide schedule and if the roads within the houses are accessible would be very helpful. Recommendation to stop at the grocery store before you each the beach access road and what types of things are not supplied at the house would be good, too. Overall we were so very pleased with our stay and Misty was great when we needed her. I would absolutely recommend this house to my friends and family and would love to visit again!

This home was the perfect fit for our large group of 14. We stayed over the Christmas holiday and the place was very accommodating! Larkin was very responsive and helped out immediately with any questions we had. The kitchen was fully stocked and all the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels and blankets, dishes, etc. for our entire group. The location is a small quaint town. The Blue Crab down the street had some delicious food but other than that there isn’t much around so you definitely need to hit up the store. The Food Lion is less than 10min away for groceries. Williamsburg is 30min away and Yorktown about 45min away- we visited both towns to explore. Overall a marvelous stay!

This is a beautiful spacious home with lots of amenities. We loved the open concept and that most of the house is on one level, so not a lot of stairs. The kids really enjoyed playing outside, the playroom and the night we had s"mores by the fire pit.

This is such a unique property! It was perfect for our family. We knew the weather was going to be cold and rainy for ~half our visit, but Jessica’s house did not disappoint. There is so much to do, which resulted in priceless family time. When the weather cleared, we fully enjoyed the outside amenities. The pickleball court, sauna, and hot tub were big hits. Jessica is a great communicator and enabled a memorable Spring Break for our kids.

We loved our stay at Karen’s place. The apartment is very comfortable, and the views are spectacular. I wish we had more time to enjoy the offerings. We hope to come back again!

I would definitely stay here again! My absolute favorite part was the deck outside. It had so much seating and a table with an umbrella. The home was lovely. The queen size bed was comfy. The space on the side of the bed with the wall is awkward because the intake vent is there, and that vent is also loud and annoying. Just wear earplugs! We added two of the wooden tray tables from the closet as night stands. The house is clean except the floor, which I'd imagine is hard to sweep or mop because the boards have shifted, making the floor uneven with cracks through out. So the floor felt and looked a bit dirty, but you're by the beach with sand, so eh not a problem.

Charming Cape Charles getaway! I was so happy to find this gem and even more thrilled when I arrived. From the beautiful landscape of the gated community, to the southern charm of this glorious suite…I wanted for nothing. This enormous suite has all the comforts of home and the location was spectacular. The property offered not only a private beach on the bay , a community pool, a beautiful well maintained golf course, it was also a short drive to the charming town of Cape Charles. Dawn offered endless advice to her favorite restaurants, activities to do and places to see while we visited. She was just a text or call away if I needed anything. Her hospitality was beyond measure. I look forward to coming back.

I loved staying at Velma’s place, it was cozy and cute, exactly what we were looking for. I will definitely visit again. Velma was awesome and responsive. My stay was as imagined.

We loved our stay at the Simple Life. Everything was exactly as the listing pictured it. While the house is on the older and smaller side compared to many of the other rentals in Sandbridge, it has clearly been impeccably maintained. We enjoyed the pool and being just two blocks from the beach, which was uncrowded. My only minor complaint is that the bunk bed in the second bedroom wasn’t super comfortable and it was very squeaky, which wasn’t ideal since I was sharing it with my sleeping newborn, and my senior mom had some trouble getting up on the bed in the primary because it was so high off the ground. But that is seriously such a minor thing. The kitchen was well-equipped and we had plenty of towels and access to a washer/dryer, which we didn’t end up using. We had a really wonderful, relaxing time and my dad commented several times he wished we could have stayed another week!

We stayed at Richard’s because we were getting married on the beach which is right behind the house however weather halted tht so we opted to get married right in his beautiful backyard. The first day we were there we met his father who introduced himself and let us know tht if there was anything we needed to just reach out. Richard and his Mom actually were very sweet and left us a beautiful card for our wedding, the house is gorgeous and it was very clean. There were a lot a personal touches in the house tht made it truly feel like you were home. I can’t wait to stay there again next year for our 1st year wedding anniversary.

The perfect spot for our Winter getaway. A beautiful setting and a well preserved colonial era cabin, perfect for exploring such an historic part of our Country. Quaint local restaurants, friendly people and a country setting handy to the lower tidewater Virginia. The icing on the cake was the fireplace for cozy evenings reading a good book. Richard was absolutely amazing and was so quick to respond when our trip changed and we were getting there a little bit earlier! We will definitely be coming back next year! The house stayed cold the beds were very comfortable and watching the sunset at the dock was by far my favorite thing!

This bright and cheery home is idyllic - set back from the road among flowering bushes and trees with a view of the creek from almost every room. We rented this place while we were exploring the area and househunting. We anchored our sailboat in Cobbs Creek and could dinghy right to the dock at this house! Our friends came to visit and were able to keep their fishing boat at the dock. The privacy and natural beauty is equally as wonderful as the immaculate, fully stocked home with all the amenities one could dream of - set up for ease of use-cooking and relaxing. High end appliances/dishwasher/washer dryer/grill on the deck. It was like bringing my home with me on vacation!! Noelle made us feel right at home from the first contact. We explored the water with her kayaks, visiting and photographing the osprey family on red 2! The great blue herons were the only living thing keeping an eye on us our entire stay!

A Beautiful home with a lovely back yard. Lots of space inside, and lots of amenities for kids. The kitchen was great and had everything I needed. Overall the house was very comfortable, but perhaps a bit under-furnished. Although the listing indicated dedicated office space, I ended up doing most of my work at the dining room table, but that worked well and had a nice view of the river. The network was snappy and reliable. The neighborhood was quiet and the home very private -- My stay was quite enjoyable and the host was responsive when I reached out.
