Hambantota: case vacanze con accesso alla spiaggia

We loved our stay here. We stayed for four nights, but could have easily stayed longer. So much to love about this special place…. the natural setting, the ocean at its doorstep, the warm, helpful staff, the amazing food, the experiences with the native animals, the happy and relaxed atmosphere. The food was the best we have experienced in Sri Lanka. The quality, taste, freshness and diversity of the food was exceptional and our host, Gayan, would do whatever he could to provide us with the best experience possible. We were fortunate enough to witness green sea turtles clamber up from the shore at night, dig their holes, lay their eggs, cover their eggs and then return to the ocean. It was very special indeed. If we ever return to Sri Lanka, we will definitely return to this lovely, friendly place in Rekawa Beach.

Very special property - felt like staying in a James Bond villa straight out of a movie. We had fantastic food both nights we stayed as well. The pool is massive - 20m! Service and quality throughout could not be faulted. Worth every penny. Highly recommended

The Green House is a little oasis of calm from the hustle and bustle of the busier parts of Sri Lanka. Immaculately presented with three great bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms, the house is clean and modern. All the staff involved in looking after us and the house were also a real delight - so accommodating and helpful in every aspect. a short walk to a wonderful beach which the kids loved made this one of the best places that we stayed in during our whole trip. Pour commencer nous n’avons pas eu la chance de rester dans ce logement en raison d’une erreur de date. Toutefois, l’hôte très proactif nous a proposé un autre logement tout aussi beau et encore plus grand au même tarif ( Villa Hiru Sindu). À quelques minutes à pied de la plage, cette villa offre un jardin et un espace vert verdoyant et calme. Nous avons même aperçu des singes sur les arbres fruitiers de la propriété. D’ailleurs, il nous faut mentionner la gentillesse de la propriétaire qui habite à quelques mètres de la maison. Elle nous a accueilli avec un immense sourire et des jus frais de son jardin. Pour un séjour de dernière minute nous étions très bien ! Il faut toutefois noter qu’il n’y a pas de filet à moustiques au dessus des lits ce qui peut être un inconvénient pour certains voyageurs. Comme la villa est nouvellement accessible, il s’agit d’un des elements potentiels à ajuster pour le futur. Somme toute, nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour!

This place is a hidden gem on the Mawella beach and a paradise for nature lovers. The lush green lawns filled with birds, squirrels, peacocks, woke us up to birdsongs in the morning. The cook Chaminda makes the most lip smacking food and took great care of us. The beach is a 5 mins walk and was very easy to reach on foot. The place is very well done especially the huge beautiful bathroom and the warm interiors. Overall a must stay for people seeking some calm and time away from hustle.

Jasims Villa ist traumhaft. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben - sauber, super komfortabel, einfach riesig und mit einem eigenem Strandzugang. Jasim war immer schnell zu erreichen und hat uns einen späteren Check-Out angeboten. Nuwan und seine liebe Frau leben vor Ort…seine Frau ist eine Superköchin. Du musst nicht auswärts essen. Sehr empfehlenswert :) wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten!

Es war ein Traum! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und konnten uns super entspannen. Unsere drei Jungs haben den Pool genossen und die Nähe zum einsamen Strand war das besondere Highlight! Das zubereitete Frühstück war so lecker und die Leute waren sooo lieb. Dank Amith, dem sehr liebenswürdigen TukTuk Fahrer und seinen wertvollen Tipps und Empfehlungen hatten wir immer einen perfekten Aufenthalt! Vielen Dank für die unvergesslichen Tage!

The location of the house was absolutely stunning. Right on the beach which was empty and felt like our own was dreamy, peaceful and idyllic. Lakmal, Dulan and Nihal were so helpful and attentive to all our needs. The breakfasts and dinners Lakmal made every day were absolutely stunning! We had so much variety and a real taste of Sri Lankan cuisine. They looked after us so well and arranged tuk tuks for us when we wanted them. It’s worth taking toiletries as these weren’t provided but honestly i would absolutely recommend this house as a great base to do a morning safari and enjoy the peaceful surrounds. Great value for money!
