Halifax Harbour: case vacanze con accesso alla spiaggia

An interesting location facing the scallop docks while 1 block from Main Street and restaurants (would recommend Bar Salvador for tapas and cocktails!). We were there off-season and parking not a problem but might be during peak season. The BnB exactly as pictured and the fireplace was great as the weather was cold and damp. Would go back.

Small and cozy. Host was fantastic and accommodating to us and our dog.

This was the most amazing place. We spent a week here and Everything you needed or wanted was right in this place. The surroundings were peaceful, very inviting. Gillian checked in with us halfway through our stay to see if we needed anything. The beds were very comfy. The firepit is beautiful there was a fully stacked wood pile to use for the fire. There were lots of chairs all around to sit outside or out by the the dock. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you Gillian and Scott for your hospitality.

We drove in from PEI not having been to the area. I’m so glad we took the chance! The pictures do not reflect the absolute beauty of the accommodation and surrounding landscape. The view from our bedroom window was amazing!!! We found Rachael to be the hostess with the mostest :) so very kindhearted! Everything we needed and more with helpful guidance prepared for us. The cleanliness was so refreshing!! Don’t hesitate, nothing to fear! Book it!

We stayed for 6 months and it was absolutely wonderful! There were lots of beaches and trails nearby to take our dog. The views were amazing! We even saw a seal once! The apartment was beautiful as well, especially the kitchen (as someone who loves to cook and bake it was perfect!) It's the perfect distance from Halifax if you don't like the bustle of a city but still want to do some sightseeing if you don't mind driving a bit! Overall we loved every part of our stay :)

Excellent host and very hospitable. The accommodation was very clean. Location is great because it is very close to Dalhousie.

Interior is modern and very comfortable and the swim spa and patio area are private, with great views of the bay during the day and the stars at night. Easy access to Hailfax and the surrounding area.

Wow!!! What can I say, unfortunately there is no 10 stars to rate this place and Courtenay. She has done such a fantastic job, we arrived there was water in the fridge and milk, fresh cookies and local caramels from Lure!! I felt like it was my birthday. Beautiful little notes left for us all to welcoming us to the property. I’ve stayed in many Airbnb’s around the world and in Nova Scotia and these guys knocked it out of the park. I need to go and re-review previous properties to make the level of service, support and quality of the accommodation make sense. This is beyond 5 stars and actually deliver so well so thoughtfully that I would not want to stay anywhere else. Amazing location, sunrise and sunset were just beautiful over the ocean. Tucked away but still close for groceries or nipping into Halifax. Courtenay was super responsive but honestly everything is there so no need to ask for anything. Tea, coffee, everything you need other than main groceries was a big help.

This was the most beautiful Airbnb I’ve ever seen or stayed in by far!! It’s absolutely stunning inside and out and top to bottom. The location is incredible with the most beautiful scenery of the ocean and stars. My family had such an amazing time that they were begging me to rent the place for longer. The kids had so much fun in the backyard, the near by beach, and especially the jacuzzi. I will absolutely be renting this place again and again every time we consider going away as a family!! Thank you to the hosts, who were so respectful , responsive and made the stay so flawless and easy and literally contributed to the joy my family felt this last weekend.

We were a group of 6 adults and 2 babies and this home couldn't have been more perfect for us to stay in! It was extremely clean and spacious, it gave us lots of room to live and not be on top of each other. This home was able to accommodate a large group no problem and had lots of common areas to hang out. I loved that the house came with a lot of common house items already so it didn't feel like we were missing anything! I would 100% recommend this space to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Absolutely fantastic place in a beautiful beachfront setting. The house/cottage had all the amenities one could ask for plus extremely quiet, comfortable and private. Excellent local restaurants with lots of sights to check out along with several outstanding beaches. Well worth the stay and we are already hoping to return in the summer for another visit.

What else is there to say? Beautiful architecture, unique forms, peaceful surroundings. Appreciated the small details and commitment to natural materials. Even on a foggy day it feels majestic with the elevated views. Lots of trails nearby. Hope to visit again.

2 weeks of beautiful views, and peace and quiet. Yes, we stayed 2 weeks and settled into this wonderful place right away. Each morning brought a stunning sunrise and each evening brought lights on the water. The bed was very comfortable and we felt right at home! Melissa and Rob were great! We would definitely stay there again!

We just left Brad and Jaclyn’s place this morning after spending 3 nights. We had a great experience and especially loved the view and beach across the road for searching for beach glass. The home had everything we needed and more and Brad and Jaclyn were great in getting back to us quickly with any questions we had. We hope to make it back to Nova Scotia and would definitely recommend this beautiful home to any family and friends !
