Hajan: soggiorni in cottage

We stayed at Aamir’s place in July 2024 when we visited Kashmir for the first time with our families. Aamir, Muneer and Aadil made the entire experience extremely comfortable. The very day we arrived, we were upgraded without asking for it as they saw that my mum in law can’t walk a lot so we were given the rooms close to the entrance. We arrived quite late (around 10pm) because of flight delays and had no idea where we will find food from at this hour but they made sure that we don’t sleep hungry. They prepared a full meal this late in the night and for all days that we stayed there, even if we needed something at 1am in the night, they were all happy to help. The place is beautiful and very nicely maintained. They have a beautiful garden just behind the rooms where we had breakfast and made some core memories. Aamir also recommended some places to visit and helped make transport arrangements. Thank you for the amazing hospitality. This was home away from home.

We had a truly lovely stay, and I must say, Rishi is an exceptional host. He went out of his way to ensure that we were comfortable in every possible way. His suggestions for places to visit, dining, and shopping were always spot-on and reliable. The property itself is stunning and well-maintained, offering a peaceful retreat. If you're looking to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of the city this is the perfect place to relax. Highly recommended!

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We felt well looked after and cared for. The house is beautiful with lovely spring flowers scattered everywhere. Bonfire and BBQ facilities were available to us and that felt like such a nice touch. We felt safe and secure throughout our stay especially since we were primarily all women this was important to us. The place felt secluded withing being too far away from a city. The road up is a little steep so would recommend a good car. The only complaint we had, if any, was that one of the showers out of the two did not work, however this was not too big a problem for us as we all then just ended up using one shower. Would 100% come stay here again.

This is my second visit in a year. Remarkable place Its just like your second home. So neat & Tidy. Attendant was very active & Vigilant. He was always a minute away. The Host Sher Afghan Khan is very friendly & Very responsive & above all very cooperative. He has really maintained the place in an excellent condition. Thanks

We went there for a family trip. The place was in a serene and secluded location with no noise or light pollution. The attendant was nice and non-intrusive. It felt like home. I feel that the price could be a few thousands less but thats just my opinion.

The second visit to this place was also fantastic. It continues to be a peaceful and warm environment, making it the perfect destination for families. This time Shabbir, the caretaker, played a crucial role in ensuring that our journey was wonderful. He takes excellent care of both the property and the guests.

This was such a great value. Nice enough for all of our standards coming from living in the states. Also the location was perfect. Walking distance from lots of great restaurants and it was great roads. Definitely would stay again!

An oasis of tranquillity....!!! This was one of the best Airbnb’s I have been to so far. A beautiful, scenic and peaceful place to relax yourself from the busy life, hospitality offered was at peak. The caretaker and the Host was polite at all times. The room was spacious and nicely maintained. One cannot forget the beautiful view of the Lidder river alongside of this beautiful home. Spectacular green forests and meadows make up the landscapes of this location.

Zalan as a host was amazing. He was super friendly and accommodating considering we booked at the last minute and still everything was organised. The cottage was very cozy and the ideal getaway for us. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it to others as well. Thank you Zalan! :)

Everything about this place was perfect, the house was very well maintained, very clean, & very well furnished. The stand out for us was the 1st floor, which has one room, a lounge & open kitchen. It has multiple windows which provide beautiful view of the mountains both from the lounge and the bedroom. The wooden floor of the lounge made it especially comfortable, where the family can hangout, eat, play games while enjoying the the beautiful scenery of Bhurban. Multiple heating solutions (Gas, electric, Heated Bed) made the whole place very comfortable even with the late November chill. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. This is a sort of place where you can go and just stay within the house to relax and enjoy the weather, clean air and beautiful scenery, it situated at a walking distance from Chinar Golf Club & PC Bhurban so you don't have to travel far for dine-out or any other activity. I would recommend it 10/10.

Faisal's place was perfect for us. It was away from the highly crowded centre of town (15 minutes by cab), next to the Lidder River, in a quaint village lane that gave a spectacular view of the majestic mountain range, the river flowing down in all its fury and the breathtaking scenery around. The housekeeper Showkat made delicious food and kept the place neat and tidy. His cheerful presence made us feel very welcome. If you are looking for a comfortable place, some 'me time' in tranquil surroundings, this is the place.

The place was comfortable and clean and I had a great stay! It is 8 minutes drive from PC Bhurban. The beds were cosy, there was heating as well. Best part of my stay was the lawn with view. Kitchen is well stocked up with all cookware and we had blast making BBQ. They also have BBQ grill available. Listening to “Young Dumb and Broke” in the lawn with the bar b qued chicken certainly is a vibe! Best place for kids and families. Highly recommended. Will be coming back again!

Our stay at this Airbnb was truly wonderful. The caretaker, Tek Raj, was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive—he made us feel right at home. The property was exactly as described, if not better. Tek Raj even arranged a serene shikara ride for us across Nigeen and Dal Lake, and the boatman he recommended offered a very fair price. What really touched us was how warmly Tek Raj looked after us—as if we were part of his own family. Each evening, after returning from our day’s excursions, we’d find the room heating already turned on, making the space feel extra cosy and welcoming. We’re a family of four, and the two-bedroom setup was more than comfortable. A special mention also goes to the friendly dogs on the property and Tek Raj’s adorable little child, who added an extra layer of warmth to our experience. All in all, it was a memorable and heartwarming stay—we’d love to return someday.
