Een prachtig, uniek en rustgevend verblijf! De kamer was precies zoals omschreven en zeer proper! Ondanks de mooie foto’s, waren we toch nog erg onder de indruk. Een ideale plek om tot rust te komen en te genieten van de natuur. In de omgeving zijn er leuke wandelroutes te vinden voor de liefhebbers. Zeker een aanrader! 🤩

We are a family with 2 boys and stayed at "La Chênaie Moderne” for a month in August 2024. We had a fantastic time! The accommodation is a spacious and clean space and reflects totally the description provided. It is in excellent condition: fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer, good wifi, free parking, numeric lock for the entrance door. We loved the enormous plants in the living room! Very welcoming! Towels and bed linen were provided. The host Frédéric is very kind, responsive, and supportive. The location is ideal for a quiet stay, Uccle is lovely neighborhood, and it is about 10ish-min drive to the commercial areas at Avenue de Waterloo and Saint-Job. You can visit easily the most enchanting woods in the city Bois de la Cambre. You can reach Brussels in 20 min by car and 40 min by public transport. Two bus lines (37 and 43) stop just right around the corner. We are very happy and grateful, and we could not have had better accommodation! Highly recommended!

Wat een heerlijk verblijf! Het huisje was precies wat we nodig hadden om helemaal tot rust te komen. De omgeving is prachtig en rustig, en het huisje zelf is sfeervol ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Alles was netjes schoon en goed verzorgd bij aankomst. We voelden ons meteen thuis. Dit is zo’n plek waar je eigenlijk niet meer weg wilt – en waar we zeker nog eens naar terug zullen keren.

We found Hilde’s beautiful home on a last minute trip away for Easter. We were so impressed with the home, it was much much bigger than we expected!! Hilde was so friendly and lovely when we met to gain access. Although she said her English wasn’t the greatest, she made sure we understood how to work everything in her beautiful home. She also printed out suggests in English of family things to do as we had our 15 month old son. She even went above and beyond to bring over some age appropriate toys for our son from her own house! The whole house was very well equipment and by far the best air b&b I have ever stayed in! The cleanliness was immaculate! Overall…I hope to stay again soon. The only one downfall that we noticed was that the family bathroom did have a sewage smell but that did not effect our stay at all as Hilde has air diffusers and air freshers so we just gave a spray every now and again. If you are looking for a perfect host, perfect countryside then book here!!

Nous avons séjourné trois jours dans cette villa et c'était tout simplement incroyable, incroyable, incroyable ! La villa est parfaitement aménagée, chaque détail a été soigneusement pensé. La localisation est idéale, à quelques minutes seulement de Bruxelles. Le cadre est tout simplement parfait, voire idyllique, avec une ambiance relaxante et des paysages magnifiques. Tout était absolument parfait, dépassant toutes nos attentes. Cette villa fait désormais partie de nos coups de cœur, et c'est certain que nous y reviendrons. Le propriétaire mérite une mention spéciale : 10/10 sans hésitation ! Il est avant tout humain, compréhensif, et toujours disponible. La communication était fluide et agréable, ce qui a grandement facilité notre séjour. Nous recommandons cette villa à 100 %, véritable perle rare

Geweldig huis! De kinderen genoten van de tuin, het speelgoed en de pooltafel. En de volwassenen zaten rustig in een prachtige omgeving. Eetgelegenheden en supermarkten zijn op loopafstand. Je hebt een zeer mooi zicht op het kasteel, dat ook de moeite is om te bezoeken. Keuken is erg goed uitgerust. De aanwezige koffie is heerlijk! Slapen doe je in een rustige omgeving op zeer goede matrassen bedden. Bedankt, Joan! We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf en komen graag terug!

Prachtig verblijf. Mooie en nette woonkamer & slaapkamers, een keuken die voorzien is met alles wat je nodig hebt, een leuk terras en een ruime speelkelder. Zeker een aanrader.

The host was so hospitable. They were so kind I felt right at home. The room was clean we had everything we needed. I never felt like I was intrusive the hosts made us feel so comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay again.
