Centrally located between Helen, Clayton and Clarkesville, GA. Enjoy the convienece of a restaurant and hiking trails on property. There are many activities nearby such as hiking, zip lining, horseback riding, boating , fishing and shopping in Helen, Clayton . You won’t find a better place to rest and enjoy nature.

Gathering Moss Cottage is a wonderful family getaway or 2 to 3 couples retreat on Lake Burton. 30 minutes to Helen and half the price! Great views from the screened porch while reading a book or watching the kids play in the lake. Make some great memories at this fantastic cottage. New firepit is in just off the steps leading to the lake. Kayak's are available on site as well as pontoon boat rental from your host delivered to the dock, no pu or drop off.
