Such a beautiful location and the PERFECT villa for my family and I. The property is exactly as per the photos. It is maintained daily by Vincete (awesome guy and super friendly/really helpful). The house was cleaned daily at no extra cost. We had such a wonderful time staying here with 2 young kids, grandma and brother’s family. The view from the kitchen and outdoor area/pool is beautiful and never gets old. Would love to come back again!

Really enjoyed our time at casa koa/hacienda pinilla. The house was very private and secure and the beach club was a great place to hang out during the day.

Our stay at Elisabeth and Michael's home was fantastic! We felt as though we had stepped back in time to the early 1900's. They have done an amazing job restoring the place while retaining the original character. Their home is truly a work of art. While there are a few modern conveniences one might find missing, we had everything we needed, were very comfortable and felt completely at home. Michael's breakfast was wonderful and he was always ready to help in every way possible. Our conversations with our hosts were captivating and one of the hi lights of our time in Costa Rica! It is quite apparent that Elisabeth and Michael love Puntarenas and Costa Rica. That affection is quite contagious and we found ourselves more in love with their country having visited with them in their home for a few days and would definitely stay with them again.

This is truly an incredible place! Private pool, away from the business but close enough to enjoy epic beaches, restaurants and all the other things you want to do. I highly recommend staying here.

A Peaceful Getaway Near the Beach It was a beautiful house close to the beach, and it was the perfect mix of tranquility and convenience. Surrounded by nature, the property offered a private and peaceful retreat, ideal for relaxation. Despite the secluded feel, it was just a short distance from town, making it easy to access restaurants and any essentials. For us was perfect because we were looking for a quiet escape or a balance between nature and accessibility, this place offers the best of both worlds! Looking forward to visit again.

After staying here last year our kids were so excited to come back! They love the pool! The house has everything you need and is very clean! The property is amazing and we have even seen several sloths.

Tivemos uma experiência inesquecível, celebrando nosso casamento junto de alguns amigos. Tudo ficou ainda mais especial graças à anfitriã, Laura, que foi extremamente solícita e sempre respondeu rapidamente a todas as nossas mensagens. Laura também ajudou nossos amigos a organizar uma surpresa maravilhosa (festa) para comemorarmos ainda mais esse momento. Minha amiga, que teve contato direto com a Laura, ficou encantada com toda a atenção, gentileza e apoio que recebeu durante todo o processo. Somos muito gratos por termos vivido esse momento tão único em uma casa tão acolhedora, charmosa e em uma praia belíssima. Para tornar tudo ainda mais especial, recebemos de presente uma espumante e uma linda guirlanda de flores da anfitriã. Tudo foi preparado com muito carinho e cuidado. Recomendo demais a estadia, tanto pela casa quanto pelo acolhimento excepcional da Laura.

The view over the lake arenal is just phenomenal! The house has a huge garden with some fruits, herbs & vegetables wich we were allowed to eat. We can for sure recommend.

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful! Although the apartment is not brand new, it had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at home. It’s very clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped. The balcony with views of trees and mountains is a true gem – it was the perfect spot for morning coffee and a relaxing evening watching the sunset. Both bedrooms were very comfortable, with luxurious bedding, air conditioning, and blackout curtains. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. I was super happy with the fast internet so I could work remotely A huge plus is the apartment’s location – it’s very close to the pool, which was especially convenient on hot days. We had access to a gym, restaurant, and playground. The entire complex is well-kept and very safe, with 24/7 security. The host was incredibly kind, helpful, and always quick to respond to any questions or needs. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality and care – it made the stay truly special!

I booked this for my coworkers. I was the only one in communication with the host and I was in another country and it all worked out. It was so smooth

Es una zona muy sana , se desplaza con facilidad a donde quiera ir y todo está al alcance, restaurante y comercios en general

David was an excellent host, the place was pristine and the kitchen very well stocked… even had a French press :-) David was gracious and let us check out 3 hours after the original time. If you stay at David’s place, Mistico Resorts is very nice but mostly empty during the week. We stayed with our two boys so the three bedrooms were very much welcome! I highly recommend to stay there again.

Ruben was an amazing host! Place was super cozy and he was SUPER NICE! We couldnt feel more at home than what we did! This was the consensus of myself, wife and kids! Will look for this place when going to Costa Rica!!

Wonderful place with the outstanding views ! Clean, well organized, quiet, fully equipped house. Located on the top of the hill , which opens fantastic panorama of the mountains and the outskirts of the town! We enjoyed every morning birds chirping and even saw toucans ! The neighbors very welcoming and sweet, Patricio extremely responsive and friendly! Great get away place (you might want to stay longer than a weekend) plan accordingly 🤗 I want to thank Patricio and his team for the job the guys do ! They do it right , which means they are at the right place ! Making memories is an amazing occupation😊

La fortuna nunca decepciona y en esta ocasión en el hospedaje de Adrian no fue la excepción, su casa es simplemente hermosa, acogedora y con una vista increíble, cuenta con lo necesario para hacer de la estadía muy placentera. El anfitrión 10/10, con su amabilidad, claridad y manera oportuna de brindar información hizo de nuestra primer experiencia en un airbnb muy agradable, Adrián muchas gracias.

Good value, nice well maintained clean house with an electric gate, perimeter fence and multiple security cameras. Nice sheltered outdoor areas for sitting and dining on a rainy day. There is a river and mountain with tropical forest rising up behind the house. Old style electric shower head. It can be quite hot if you keep the flow of water low. Nice screened windows for good cross ventilation. Quite cool at night so no need for AC. Spent one morning at Blue Falls which was truly amazing. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils, air fryer, microwave and outdoor grill. Ran out of propane for the stove but Daniela sent over a full tank within an hour.

Casa Oropendola is magical – a happy place to be happy in! Everything needed to feel comfortable and at home is right there. It is spotless, spacious and well-equipped. The (fully equipped) kitchen, with panoramic windows looking out onto a landscape of utter beauty, is amazing. Gilbert has created a garden of stunning beauty whose heliconia are constantly visited by hummingbirds. Bird lovers – you will be in paradise here! I downloaded the Merlin app for my stay here and was amazed at the species it picked up. Note reliable wifi for work meetings. Safe - could have left the door unlocked at night - not exaggerating. Potable Spring water from the kitchen tap. Gilbert is the kindest and most generous of hosts. He told me about great places to go and helped me a lot. He goes far above and beyond what I expect, doing everything in his power to make the stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. He is just a sincere and kind personality. Laguna Hule is breathtaking. Great hikes!

We had a great stay, and really enjoyed using the hot tub after long adventure days. The home had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable.

Además, el billar (pool) fue una excelente adición para la diversión en familia. ¡Sin duda, una experiencia increíble y nos encantaría volver!

Absolutely loved our stay! The property is stunning, with beautifully maintained grounds and breathtaking views of the volcano. Very private - no one else nearby. Our kids couldn’t get enough of the pool and jacuzzi—it was the perfect place to relax. The location is great too, just a quick and easy 15-minute drive into downtown. Kenneth was an exceptional host—super responsive and thoughtful, even leaving fresh coconuts in the fridge for us. We would definitely stay here again!

Se puede disfrutar de excelentes vistas, la es casa grande, cómoda y con áreas internas simplemente acogedoras. Las zonas verdes estaban muy cuidadas y limpias. La casa es de fácil acceso y a 15 minutos del Poás. Laura fue super atenta y rápida en responder.
