A small shopping center, Krossmói, is only 8 minutes away on foot, offering a supermarket, pharmacy, bank (ATM), restaurants, and other shops. The local bus stop is also nearby (outdoor, no kiosk). Esjuberg Farm-Sleep with horses & mountain hike

Welcome to the newly renovated farmhouse in Esjuberg, where you sleep by the roots of the mountain. This house truly has it all, from a beautiful ocean view, horses in the backyard, and a phenomenal view over Reykjavik. Esjuberg plays a big part in a very interesting Icelandic Viking story called the Kjalnesinga Saga. In this story, a woman named Esja lived here along with her foster son Búi, who became a very mighty man.
