The Studio at The Aloes Farm - Hilton

THE STUDIO is a peaceful, fully-equipped, 3-bedroom, 6-sleeper cottage bordering Hilton College. It is conveniently close to Hilton Village, with its shops, excellent restaurants and many coffee shops. The Afro-Scandi decor complements the original art on the walls. The comfy lounge with a fireplace, and luxury beds with crisp cotton linen, will ensure cozy evenings followed by a good sleep. The large patio and outside dining area enjoy spacious farmland views, and bask in the afternoon sun.

The Watering Hole

The Watering Hole is the ideal spot for a fun, family getaway. Swimming pool, three luxurious dam facing bedrooms, a large super-king garden room and a kid friendly dormitory styled loft. Three full bathrooms, 2 snug lounges and a library to enjoy board games! On our Private Property you can spend your day relaxing on the dam, mountain biking, birding, spotting our resident giraffe or by having a braai with a view. Get back to your roots at our rustic farm house - a nature lovers paradise.

Ideal for a couple. Self-catering on the Midlands Meander, adjoining farm land with open lawn & sky. Set between Lions River & Curry's post. Secure & not too far off the N3 Highway (2,5 km's). One of 4 individual, well appointed cottages - each with own bathroom en suite, open plan lounge, dining, kitchen. Aloe cottage has King bed with option of 2 singles, Lavender Garden & Nguni have queensize beds. Bathroom has shower, basin, toilet. Sleeper couch & extra mattress available.

Lakeview one bedroom cottage with fire place

Nguni Cottage is our luxury lake facing cottage located near Nottingham Road. Here you can find dams for boating and bass fishing, a tennis court and 25ha of indigenous forest! This rural smallholding farm with Nguni Cows and retired horses has a significant history from the 1840's and gives you the chance to experience the true peace and tranquillity of the countryside, but yet is very central to top restaurants, golf courses, wedding venues and schools. The farm is on solar power.

River Cottage

Tuck yourself away in the heart of the Karkloof valley. Feast your eyes on the beautiful view, watching the sunset over the river on your doorstep. Secure and serene, this little getaway is both convenient and tranquil. Neighbouring some of the best biking trails in the country and home to some beautiful walks and the well-known bird hides and the Karkloof Conservation Centre. The River Cottage sleeps 2 adults with an option to share with your kids too. Treat Yourself!

The Cottages - The Old Mushroom Farm

As the name suggests, the farm was once used to grow mushrooms, but has since been renovated into modern accommodation and is now an attractive destination for the whole family- including pets! There is plenty to do and see on the farm with multiple shops, restaurants, kids play area, food garden and more also on the property. Work out at the gym, grab a morning coffee, pick up some fresh bread, and forage for your lunch- all a short walk from where you’ll be staying.

YELLOWWOODS FARM - The Goat House (self catering)

We like to think that we have the best of both worlds here at Yellowwoods. The benefits of farm life, yet easy access to cafes, restaurants, bicycles trails, farmers markets, golf courses and schools. Only 2kms off the N3, we are easily accessible and very easy to find. We are a little farm, so there may be some ‘farm noise’ about and general day-to-day goings on! The Goat House has an outside table/chairs and braai facilities. WiFi and DSTV included.

180* at Mission House

Located in picturesque Currys Post, 180* at Mission House is a charming studio/cottage surrounded by breathtaking views of the Drakensberg Mountains. This cottage is secluded and cozy, with expansive views and outlook. Light, spacious and airy, it is comfortably furnished with everything you'd need for a weekend away in the beautiful KZN Midlands. Mission House is in the heart of the Midlands Meander route, and only a short distance from the N3.

Dam View Villa – Couples Dreamy Karkloof Retreat

This cosy two-sleeper villa is perfect for a couple, offering a comfortable, modern self-catering space. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, indoor fireplace, and a wood-fired pizza oven for relaxed nights in. The unit is nestled along a farm road, and a high-clearance vehicle is recommended for access, though smaller vehicles will also manage. There are no TVs, encouraging you to unwind, reconnect, and fully enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

eKuthuleni Glamping: Wooden cabin over the lake

Our wooden cabin over the lake offers a cozy and comfortable stay, with stunning views over the lake and the forests around the property. Enjoy the bird life of which there are a few species. You can enjoy the tranquility, or fish from the deck, or explore the nearby attractions. The cabin is self catering, semi off-grid equipped with a gas geyser supplying hot water to the shower, and we have an ensuite septic based toilet.

The Studio Unit @ Gum Tree Glen

The snug little flatlet is wonderfully cosy, with tasteful decor, a beautiful queen sized bed with gorgeous linen, a compact kitchenette with everything you need, and a lovely shower with piping hot water, in the bathroom. There's also a sleeper couch in the lounge area for that extra body! Eclectic choice of reading materials for bookworms, and TV with most of the popular channels. This unit is not pet-friendly, sadly.
