Greater Napanee: soggiorni in cottage

Had an amazing stay with the family. We had lots to do from hikes to bon fires. Everything you need from grocery, gas, food and lcbo is less than a 5 min drive from the place. Over all would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

What a treat! Beautifully situated right on the waters’ edge. Lots to do!! We visited the charming town of Picton when the weather was nice! Lots of cute shops and great places to eat! On the rainy day we had a wonderful time relaxing in the hot tub while enjoying the view, cooking meals in the gourmet kitchen and watching movies on the jumbo tv! Perfect spot for a girls’ weekend or for a couples retreat!

The place was very clean and week equipped. The bottle of wine and snacks left for us was a nice touch. The lot tub was definitely the highlight!

Wonderful cottage, in a perfect location. Gorgeous and peaceful lake front, with a bon fire spot overlooking it. Everything was nearly brand new (appliances, large tv, hot tub, bbq) Kayaks were great to use to explore the Lake. Friendly general store 5 mins away. Amazing sunset. Foosball. Don’t hesitate.

This place is such a gem. Attention to detail and comfort was incredible. Our girls’ weekend was perfection. The sauna is a must, the view from the hot tub is gorgeous (even in an icestorm), the pottery for coffee was stunning, the beds were soooo comfortable, loads of towels for all of our spa activities, heated floors and a stellar Woodstove. The only problem is that with all of these amenities, you don’t want to leave to explore the area… that’s why next time we will book a longer stay! Thank you Ken and Rachel for this little slice of heaven.

Had a wonderful stay! Cottage was very well appointed, comfortable and clean. Grounds were beautiful, it was like being in your own mini private resort. Look out for an otter swimming back and forth in the lake-super cute! Alison was great to communicate with and made us feel very welcome. Loved it!

I'll admit, based on the reviews our expectations were high. They were exceeded in nearly every facet of our stay. We desperately needed ( election fatigue) to get away and have a week of peace, quiet, and serenity. Danielle and Jorden's home was perfect. there was not one single time while staying there that we looked for something that didn't exist. The bathrooms and kitchen are fabulous, and all are very well appointed. The radiant floors in the ensuite bath were a nice touch. The location is ideal, you are right on the lake with wonderful views from both inside and out, and despite having neighbors, it feels incredibly private. We had one small mechanical issue which Danielle took care of immediately. they were a pleasure to speak with, and their response time was always nearly immediate. The locals were incredibly friendly, the supermarket is just across the lake, and there's a nice dog park for those bringing their fur babies. We look forward to a returning to this ideal spot.

Leah and Johnny's Guest House is a MUST stay if it is available during a trip to The County or anywhere close by! The location is amazing but the hosts offer such genuine kindness that you immediately feel like family. They went above and beyond with everything! This spot is a little slice of heaven on earth. Well done!

We had a lovely stay at the Willow cottage. The lake is beautiful and the property is gorgeous! Jeff brought us whatever we needed. Would highly recommend this cottage. The space is great for 2 families to share, kitchen is fully equipped, unlike other Airbnbs we have rented. Thank you for hosting us and our USA friends.

We had such a wonderful stay! The space was warm, inviting, and all it was advertised to be. It was exactly what we needed—a comfortable and peaceful spot to relax. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, allowing us to check in a bit early. The personal touches really made the place feel like a home away from home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a charming, relaxing stay with the most beautiful wood burning fireplace.

We had a perfect winter getaway and would be back anytime. The description and pictures shown are accurate, it’s actually more beautiful in person. Loved how well-equipped the place is. From everything you might need in the kitchen&bathroom to the beautiful and thoughtful touches like the inside swing and the coffee table books, games, movies, an array of pillows and blankets to choose from and comfy beds. This place felt like home as soon as we walked in. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful and feels private even with the neighbouring houses. The sauna is breathtaking and a luxurious addition. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. Caroline was so kind and responsive and graciously extended help during a bad ice storm that happened during our stay. We would come back, 10/10. Thank you for a memorable stay.

We had a great time at Damon’s place. Thanks to his great info prior the stay, we had zero issues to get there. The house was clean, comfy and had all the amenities that are needed for the stay. The view at the lake is great. We would come back for sure!

What a gem this cottage is. We’d move in forever! Loved the open concept and the updated kitchen and bathroom. Perfect for our dog with a forest hiking trail close by. We enjoyed coffee and cocktails on the dock for sunrises and sunsets. Idyllic!

Beautiful cottage, amazing waterfront. We spent so much time enjoying the outside using the kayaks and canoes, BBQ, hot tub and firepit. Jordan was a wonderful host with quick communication. Definitely would stay here again

Staying at Julia’s place was a great experience ! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described (if not better). The space was cozy, stylish, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Julia was an exceptional host—super responsive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure we had a great experience.

It's a very cute and peaceful place to stay. It's surrounded by lots of foliage to ensure privacy, and I love all the small touches around the place. I would definitely love to come back in the summertime to experience all the trails and conservation areas.

Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property, has everything you need. We stayed the week of valentines and couldn’t have asked for more. I could only imagine how perfect it would be in the summer with the water sports and many other amenities this property offers. Erika and Adam were kind and responsive and helped us with all our needs!! Definitely would go again.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay during the last week of August! Some of our favourite parts of the place include: the canoes/kayaks that were available to use at our leisure, the check-in process being seamless, the essentials being provided (all kitchen supplies, beach towels, shower supplies), the other amenities (board games, BBQ). The place itself is quite beautiful. The dock with the chairs, the fire pit (even though we did not use) and the solarium were all stunning. I would just mention that it is a bit smaller of a place inside, so did find it a bit cozy and tight in the rooms. Also, the place is supplied with quite a loud window AC so sometimes it would get a bit loud/warm in the place. However, we would still give the place a 5/5 all things considered.

We had a great weekend stay at the cottage! Cam and Karley were super responsive, and accommodating of us for early check in and late check out. The cottage was well stocked with kitchen basics, and super clean and cute! As described, the main house is also closeby on the property, but we were left with full peaceful privacy the entire time. There are some beautiful walking trails in the area, including the South Frontenac just a ten minute walk down the main road. We appreciated the binder of local recommendations, as well as how pet-friendly it is, with a dog bed available and even a towel and poop bags by the door. Because it’s a beautifully wooded area, on the rainy days we did need to be vigilant to pick ticks off the dog, but we appreciated that the cottage was equipped with a tick removal kit in case we needed it, and we didn’t encounter any when it was nice out. If we hadn’t had a dog with us, we wouldn’t have noticed a thing because we were never finding them on ourselves!

We really enjoyed our stay at Ken's place. We stayed during a pretty nasty ice storm so it was incredibly helpful that we had the back-up generator. His maintenance guy Bill was great at checking in with us and making sure everything was working as expected.
