Trillium Cottage at Lake Santeetlah

Trillium Cottage is situated on 2.5 heavily wooded acres overlooking the Snowbird Mountains and Lake Santeetlah. This very private two bedroom, one-story cottage sleeps 6 (two queen beds, one sleeper sofa) and has two full baths. The clean contemporary decor features artwork by regional artists and new comfortable furnishings. This is a place to relax, unwind, enjoy a good book, time on the lake, take a beautiful drive on the Cherohala Skyway, hike one of the many nearby trails, check out the artists in Stecoah, cook your favorite foods or simply take in the nature around you. *If you have a group larger than Trillium Cottage can accommodate and looking for an additional cottage close by, please check out Sundance Cottage. It's a very short walk away and can accommodate 7. **ATTENTION: The last 1.5 miles to my cottage is a forest service gravel road and one part is a bit steep. Front or All wheel drive is recommended.

The hot tub is located on the deck overlooking the beautiful Mountain View. We are just 20 minutes away from Bryson City and the Nantahala Outdoor Center, 10 minutes from Tsali Recreation, 25 minutes from the Smoky Mountain National Park, Cherokee and The Blue Ridge Parkway. Central to the areas activities, the days can seem short with easy access to Fontana Lake, the Appalachian Trail, Tsali Recreation Area, Nantahala Outdoor Center, Nantahala Gorge, & the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Our home is nestled in-between 2 beautiful creeks in the great smoky mountains! The kitchen, dining, and living room have an open floor plan where family and friends can gather all together! The wrap around deck takes you to the beautiful back porch where the larger creek splits and flows down both sides of the house. Enjoy a picnic, listen to the soothing sounds of the creeks while laying in the hammock, have s'more fun by the fire pit! Come raft, ride, relax, hike, explore, and so much more!

Snowbird Creek Cabin, Flyfish, Tail of the Dragon

Our Snowbird Creek Cabin is cool and relaxing. It is just minutes from “Tail of the Dragon”. It is a fly fisherman’s paradise also. Hiking trails and waterfalls abound, or just kick back and relax in the pristine setting of the Snowbird Back Country. We will allow one dog 25 pounds or under to come. No exceptions for bigger dogs. I will request a picture of the dod. The dog will not be allowed on furniture. I live next door, so i will know if my rules are not obeyed.
