Camderest House was a very welcome halfway stop on our way to Cape Town. It was definitely home away from home. Thank you for a very pleasant one night stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It is well positioned in the nicest part of town, with a private garden and pool. We spent a lot of time outside on the stoep, in the shade of the pergola. Inside was neat and comfortable. Linda was friendly and very helpful. I'd be happy to return to this cottage on my next trip to a lovely Karoo town.

Our stay in this beautifully maintained historical house exceeded our expectations - it was atmospheric, spacious, private and quiet, despite being right in town. Linda always responded promptly and was there to meet us. Authentic furnishings, quality linen, well-equipped and spotless kitchen all added to the experience - and a refreshing swim in the huge and private pool was just what we needed after a long drive.

We had a perfect stay. Cottage is like you step into a museum, a classic Karoo town home with many authentic elements. The cottage is located in the center of the village very close to all key restaurants / shops etc. Location felt very safe with 24h surveillance in the street as well as private parking. Linda and Ina also kindly arranged laundry for us as well as babysitting for our kids. Next time we will visit Graaff Reinet, which we will definitely do, we will for sure book the cottage again.

Another very pleasant overnight stay at this home. Would easily stay longer if time allowed. Place was spotless and well equipped with everything we need (including back-up lights for load shedding). Dogs also had a safe space to roam around in. Shops and take-aways were within walking distance - so very convenient. Also nice view of surrounding mountain, in a quite part of the town.

By far the most out of this world amazing place, incredibly friendly and informative host. Sincerely recommended!

Stayed at Spandou Manor for the Stoep Tasting weekend. Stan is a fantastic host. The accommodation is perfect for a couples weekend away. Close to town and really peaceful. Highly Recommend.

Would have wanted to stay over longer, but could not. Tranquility, farm and nature absorb you all at once. The type of place for longer stays, if you want some alone-time, have you and your loved ones only for yourself or want to bathe in the twilight of transition between city-, old-fashioned farmstyle- and nature-living

This was by far one of the top 5 stays we had. What a beautiful home. Perfect for 2 or 4 guests. we will be back is in the area again.

We had a short one night stay (late check in and early check out) and wished we could have experienced all the offerings of this home. We loved the interior spaces as well as the outdoor living area. Feels like you’re stepping into the pages of a decor magazine. Our vehicle with roof rack was too high for the garage and we opted to park in the street but had no safety issues with this. We’ll be back to try out the pool area and fire-pit under the stars.

Was our second time staying at this spot & still loved it. Was great to have the pool with the heat! Very convenient to now have Frontiers restaurant right accross the road!

What a lovely place! Brenda is a fantastic host, she made us feel right at home; the cottage is comfortable and homely on a wonderfully peaceful farm in the Karoo. Dusty the lab was super friendly and took us on a lovely stroll around the farm which was just what we needed after having spent the day in the car. The braai pack Brenda supplied for our dinner was delicious and we had a lovely evening, enjoying the spectacular sunset and taking in the awe-inspiring night sky of the Karoo.

Jess’s cottage in the mountain (almost in the mountain) is a real gem. Surrounded by nature and wildlife. Many routes to hike, run & drive, or just spend the day out in the field with a picnic basket. Very comfortable beds & furniture to make one’s stay so much more relaxing. Views to die for ! And the most friendly dog (Pumpkin) ever ! If I could steal her, I would. If you want to recharge your batteries and have peace, this is the place to be at !!!!

This one stands out above the rest! This will be our only place to stay at when we visit Graaff-Reinet again. Attention to detail is impeccable, we felt right at home and a wonderful host to top it all off. Will definitely recommend!
