What a magical escape. Bed was comfortable, hot tub was magic and the surrounding area peaceful. Sam's Dad welcomed us and was friendly. Sam herself answered any all questions . Cabin has everything from cooker to fan! A gorgeous stay and a lovely swing couch too!

Wir haben zwei Nächte in der Villa Jokubas verbracht – und es war einfach traumhaft. Die Lage ist wunderbar ruhig, perfekt zum Abschalten und Auftanken. Umgeben von Natur, Vogelgezwitscher und absoluter Stille fällt das Runterkommen leicht. Unser persönliches Highlight waren ganz klar die Hot Tub und die Sauna – beides wurde für uns vorbereitet und war in absoluter Privatsphäre nutzbar. Die Hütte selbst ist mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet, super sauber und sehr gemütlich. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und konnten jederzeit jemanden erreichen, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Wir wären am liebsten länger geblieben und kommen definitiv wieder. Eine absolute Empfehlung für alle, die Natur, Ruhe und ein bisschen Wellness-Feeling suchen!

Lisanne ist eine nette und zuvorkommende Vermieterin, die Abwicklung war völlig problemlos. Das Haus war gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Das Haus ist Teil einer Wohnanlage die etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, aber sehr ruhig und schön gelegen. Es sind nur wenige Meter bis zum Strand.

we had a great stay there, the views are amazing. it is located in a perfect location and a bar and a shop across the road was ideal for us. The house wad spotless and a full kitchen if you wanted to make meals and washing machine there aswell if needed. We would go back in a heartbeat, thanks again Kathleen

We had a great stay at Michelle’s, she was more than welcoming and gave us some local recommendations for food. We only stayed one night, but wish we stayed longer. The kitchen had everything you would need for cooking and Michelle had the basics to make a tea and coffee which doesn’t go unnoticed. Perfect place to stay !

Alan, et ses parents sont un hôte très avenant et vraiment sympathique, et l'endroit où se trouve le gîte est quasi surnaturel, où la nature est omniprésente, luxuriante. On peut profiter pleinement de ces ballades en pleine nature au long de la rivière, avec des paysages à couper le souffle ! Nous avons pu assister à un coucher de soleil magnifique orchestré par le ballet des hirondelles, puis profiter par la suite de l'appartement qui est si cosi et bien équipé, bref, zéro défaut, nous y reviendrons certainement ! Thank you Riana for 5 wonderful nights at the beautiful Heron Cottage. We were absolutyely thrilled with everything. It was the most exquisite place to stay for a short break with my 90 year old mother, immaculately clean and incredibly comfortable. We loved the gorgeous decor and it was equipped with everything you could wish for. Everything is so easy to work, with super instructions readily available. The private steps to the beach make for a magical journey over to the harbour where we feasted on fish and chips and the outdoor seating was just perfect to relax with a glass of wine. The location is superb for touring around. We were blown away by the beauty of the place and it's fascinating history. Heron cottage is a very special place and Riana is the most welcoming, most generous host as was her lovely daughter who greeted us on arrival. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to enjoy a holiday here. To be honest we didn't want to leave and we hope to return.
