What's special about this place? EVERYTHING!! 1. Hospitality: to be honest ...it didn't feel like we were away from home for even once. The owners are very warm hearted, loving and take care of everything without even leaving anything to complain about. They even invited us in for traditional drink - Tongba (I am sorry, if i have murdered the spelling). It was really inspiring to see how they have preserved their traditional values like this. 2. Location: This place little bit off the main road which leads to the most amazing feature of this place - serenity. You will listen to the rooster at 4 in the morning, the moment sun rises , birds starts chirping. The impeccable view of sunrays falling on the kanchenjunga peak is beyond explanation. And the lush green surroundings with Rhododendrons all over the place will make you fall in love with this place. 3. Food: They cook the food with lot of love and nutrients. Although, sikkim is an organic state but their food quality will make you lick your fingers everytime you take a bite. Cleanliness: Sparkling clean!! That's all I want to say. I just want to give one example about how they took care of every teenie tiny thing when we were there: "They put one pair of scissors for cutting the coffee sachets in the room. " I have never seen such gesture anywhere. I just loved this place .

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated, with a lovely aesthetic and pretty furniture that made our stay feel extra special. The common balcony was very wide and had sitting arrangements. The living area was perfect for relaxing very cozy and thoughtfully designed. The amenities provided were excellent, including a geysers, induction stove, tea leaves, milk, coffee, and a TV, which made our stay very comfortable. Our host was incredibly cooperative, polite, and friendly. She truly made us feel at home and we all enjoyed her company. The food was simply delicious – all organic home-cooked and prepared exactly how we wanted. It was clear that she took great care in cooking for us. She also arranged a car for our trip, which was really convenient and much appreciated. We are truly thankful for such a pleasant stay and would love to return here in the future.

Amazing place !! Better then how it looks in pictures. Felt at home, and the garden in front provides the personal space as well outside the unit.

Our stay at Rays & Haze was amazing. What made the whole experience stand out was the outstanding hospitality and warmth of the hosts - Mr. & Mrs. Chettri. With increased non-personalised, no-contact remote hosting experiences I had recently, this came as a breath of fresh air and reminded me why I love Airbnb. The hosts left no stone unturned to cater for our needs particularly the kids. The place is just as described - a quaint cottage located in a picturesque and peaceful location. We booked the two suites on the second floor (Gurans & Champs), but as there were no other guests, we had the whole cottage to ourselves. This place is perfect to unwind and relax. Mr. Chettri was very kind to take us on a quick tour of an organic farm near Chimney and the Dowhill Eco-Park, to which he had a long professional association as a Forest official. His knowledge about the local ecology is outstanding. I have reached my word limit without even mentioning the delectable home-cooked food!

I had a wonderful experience at this homestay! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially loved the peaceful surroundings and the delicious home-cooked meals. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind—definitely a stay I’d recommend to anyone looking for a homely and memorable getaway.

We had a wonderful stay in Badamtam in Rebika ji’s house. It’s a very pretty house, with thoughtfully decorated interiors and spacious balconies having great views of the surrounding mountains and tea gardens. Rebika ji is an amazing host and made us feel right at home from the moment we had checked in. Her home cooked meals were delicious and always served hot and with lots of love ❤️. We also enjoyed bonfire every evening and Rebika ji prepared a lovely barbecue along with the bonfire on new year eve 🥰. Rebika ji’ son Ashu was very helpful and courteous. He showed us around the place and took us to nice view points. It’s pet friendly which was an addendum advantage to us. Overall we had an awesome and fun stay in Rebika ji’s place and would like to visit again. Thanks Rebika ji for your wonderful hospitality and warmth for us!

I loved every bit of this place. I am overwhelmed and eternally thankful for the hospitality, warmth and love Ramita showed me as a host. She has taken care of every small need I had. I will carry this warm memories with me and definitely would love to come back again and recommend this highly to all my friends and family. Thank you once again Ramita for everything!
