The updated kitchen and bathroom combine to offer all the comfort and features of home. BEDROOM Warmly lit by a floor-standing lamp, supplemented by reading lights within easy reach over the lovely Kingsize (5ft/152cm) bed. A huge built-in wardrobe with three mirrored doors provides great storage & hanging space, and the room is a short hop from the bathroom. BATHROOM The tiled bathroom features a full-width walk-in shower with powerful fixed & hand-held shower heads, A modern basin offers instant hot water, set against a full-height/full-length mirrored wall. The WC and heated towel radiator complete the picture. SITTING ROOM The front door leads directly to the living room, meaning it enjoys a natural flow to/from the private courtyard. Seating is comfortable and tables are plentiful. Warm lighting highlights walls hung with pictures, and the sash window has working shutters. KITCHEN Clean & modern with wooden worktops and light flooding in through two sash windows, which open and link to the courtyard. Masses of drawers/cupboards and fully equipped - gas hob, electric fan-oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment. UTILITY ROOM A modern automatic washer/dryer operates quietly behind a closed door off the main living room. This walk-in area also provides a wealth of storage and worktop space for associated items. PRIVATE COURTYARD The private basement courtyard enjoys the morning sun and comes equipped with a table and two chairs. It isn't naturally overlooked, but the three sash windows from the flat itself open wide onto it, meaning that those inside aren't isolated from those inside. The street above is inherently quiet meaning that this idyllic undisturbed space is a huge asset to the property and will enhance summer visits. Perfect for al-fresco breakfasting or evening drinks. ARRIVAL On your arrival the property will be set up with fresh bed linen, towels and dish towels. You can wash & dry anything easily anytime, but for longer stays extra linen can easily be provided by prior arrangement. ACCESSIBILITY Sadly the age of the property and the basement location mean that access will be unsuitable for some. These factors are regrettable, but are outside the scope of any adaption we could do. Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

If you are looking for a home from home apartment in an exclusive development with free parking then this space will be perfect for you! It is very spacious and equipped with everything you need for a few days getaway. There is Alexa controlled Sonos music system and two smart televisions. The kitchen is fullly equipped and the lounge/dining area provides a comfortable dining table for six. Our flat is perfect for a City break. Walkable to the centre with excellent public transport nearby.

Located in Gorgie and 5 mins walk to Murrayfield Stadium tram stop, our beautiful 1 bedroom flat is a PERFECT base for exploring Edinburgh. It is spacious enough to fit 3 to 4 guests.Great location and easy access to local amenities: 7-10 mins into citycenter on Lothian bus 30; 8 mins to Haymarket station on bus 2, 3,33,25. Bus 2 right outside the door takes you straight to the old town castle. Tram stop is nearby. Sainsbury, Aldi and McDonald's are round the corner. Only weekend free parking.

It is the perfect location to enjoy outdoor pursuits or explore Edinburgh & central Scotland, with most major attractions less than an hour away. 2 Nights minimum stay. Sorry no pets.
