If you are looking for a getaway The Nest is your destination. My family of four and two Aussie Shepherds needed a peaceful time out and Sonya's home was all that and more. We all had a quiet place to be alone and there were both indoor and outdoor spaces for family games. A walk to the beach each morning was minutes from the door steps and the dogs were up at 6:00 am each morning wanting to get out on the sand for a run through the water. The time Sonya has spent on the house speaks volumes. Her attention to detail from the furniture to the lighting to the towel hangers (my son was able to write our names in chalk) shows how much she loves The Nest. I, too, have fallen in love with The Nest. We have been to many airbnbs and this is by far my favourite. Since moving to Queensland, a Queenslander has been my dream and Sonya's house cinched the deal for my next home. We will be returning. Thank you to Susan, as well...An absolute gem.

My friends and I could not stop gushing about the home and location. The house we were in was beautiful and spacious for all 8 of us. It is an ideal location for a group or a family who wants a relaxing weekend away. We used almost all of the leisure amenities provided (facilities we did not use were the public games room and public indoor kitchen). We used the swimming pool, BBQ area and tennis court, all of which were well maintained. The hosts are incredibly friendly and responsive, particularly Gavin, who helped us sort out an internet issue with the TV and even did a little food shopping for us when he and the other hosts went into town to get some food. We recommend this place and would love to come back again in the near future.

The cottage is great for a quiet trip with family. It was easy to find, had plenty of amenities and in a quiet spot (despite some construction during our stay). Only thing is there isn’t a washing machine which was a bit surprising, but not an issue for us. Otherwise, Jenni was easy to communicate with and provided clear directions to the cottage. Definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting the area!

We booked both appartments. From booking till checkout, the process was smooth n easy. Thanks to Ana for managing communication effectively. The place is well equipped with everything we needed for our 2 nights stay. Kids enjoyed board game and adults had fun watching large screen tv with fast internet. We were amazed to experience pleasant sitting areas insides and outsides. Everything at property was well presented and placed for a comfortable stay. There was no soap or shampoo in showers which was easily fixed by a quick visit to a minute away IGA. Very friendly neighbourhood. The neighbours cute dog visited us and played with our kids those named her “Snowy”. Very peacefully and laid back area to enjoy a break from urban hustle. There are not many options for vegetarians that we were aware of and made arrangements before arrival i.e brought own and cook own. Kitchen was well equipped to do so. Overall, we definitely recommend this place. 5 STARS Thank you

A perfect, hassle free place to stay with friends and family. The direct access to the beach is a big bonus :)!

The house was big and very accomodating for myself and guests also with a great pool! The location was amazing, only a few minutes walk to a cafe and also the beach. Will recommend to friends and family for future holidays.

We were 4 adults and one 12 year old. We loved the location, its set in beautiful natural surroundings with a lovely walk 300 metres to the beach. it's an easy 5 minute drive to town. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The wifi was very good and we were able to work remotely when needed. The neighbours were quiet. in all it was a perfect place for a quiet, relaxing retreat.

Nice place, 5 minute walk to the beach. Easy check in and check out, would stay again!
