Fully operational open kitchen and dining area. Cabin is one big room with a separate full bathroom. Back porch is a great place to view the stars. Cabin is nestled in the woods with waterfront on the Colorado River. Fish, hike, kayak, enjoy the birds and relax along the beautiful river.

Take it easy at Wildacres Cabin-a unique and tranquil getaway. Leave the city and traffic and view a night sky full of stars. Hike and explore all 62 acres. You might see rabbits and deer as well as beautiful wildflowers & songbirds. There are 2 ponds where you can catch small fish just be sure to bring your own fishing equipment. Enjoy yourselves at the outdoor firepit, or eat at the picnic table after you've grilled your meal on the BBQ pit. Inside there are boardgames, cards & puzzles.

We are just a 5 min walk from the Blanco River and River Road and a 3 min drive to the Wimberley Square. The house is well stocked with your kitchen essentials and bath goodies to soak the day away.

Its setting is a perfect place to unwind and relax or spend time having fun outdoors. There's no better place for a couples romantic getaway, or for small families to experience life in the beautiful Texas Hill Country.

Cabin's decor based on local legend & Broadway hit, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, replete with the madam's bed. Fully stocked kitchen with coffee maker, microwave, & dishwasher. BBQ on the outdoor propane grill and enjoy a campfire under the stars (bring your own firewood). 2 miles off highway. Pets OK with a $25 per pet fee. Up to three. Kids enjoy exploring, wildlife and roasting marshmallows while snuggling up around a campfire. The experience is much like camping, not to be compared with a hotel.
