I cannot recommend The Old Milking Stall (Tim and Barbara) enough!! I stayed there with my family for 4 days and it was more than we could imagine! Tim and Barbara themselves are so welcoming and helpful, they couldn’t be any nicer if they tried! They provide a thoughtful welcome hamper! And for their home it is gorgeous! So beautiful from the garden to the reading nook, it’s perfect for all! Their pet dogs being your friend is a bonus! If you need any help they are willing to do what they can from taxi advice to food recommendations! If you need a place to stay in Skibbereen, The Old Milking Stall is definitely the place to stay! Mary was a super host, fast clear communication. House was spotless and Mary had bread, milk biscuits, cereal provided on our arrival. The house is in such a convenient location, and spotlessly clean with everything you could need. Fabulous views and the binoculars were a hige hit. Youghal has a fantastic beach and boardwalk and Mary gave great recommendations for eating locally. Overall, a highly recommended host and house.

We loved our stay at River view , very private and peaceful . Claire was a great host always responded very quickly and happy to answer any questions . Myself and my partner had a boat trip departing from baltimore so Claire's place was a great location . The pod itself had everything you needed ,Claire has thought of everything and keeps the place spotless clean . Thanks again we will definitely be back !

We had such a great time at Rosalind’s place! The house and the setting are just amazing. We stayed with our 4 children - there was plenty to keep them entertained and the surrounding area is lovely. Rosalind is a brilliant host - lots of really helpful information and communication was great. Highly recommended!!

What a magical escape. Bed was comfortable, hot tub was magic and the surrounding area peaceful. Sam's Dad welcomed us and was friendly. Sam herself answered any all questions . Cabin has everything from cooker to fan! A gorgeous stay and a lovely swing couch too!

La casa si trova in uno splendido villaggio privato, però bisogna muoversi sempre in macchina. La casa è ampia, molto carina, dotata di tutti i confort. Anche fare colazione in giardino è stato molto carino. L’host dà tutte le indicazioni in maniera puntuale e risponde in brevissimo tempo se hai domande. Il centro di Youghal è raggiungibile a piedi, ma non è comodissimo. Youghal è un po’ lontano dai principali posti da visitare nel sud dell’Irlanda.

We LOVED this space. Annette thought of everything a guest might want. Her home was decorated tastefully with sweet touches, quality furnishings, and thoughtful extras. The kitchen was immaculate with new appliances and all the gadgets we needed for cooking. Her outdoor space was beautiful and serene. We spent much time outside, looking at her garden and listening to the bees/birds. It was amazing. Annette was a great host. She provided a welcome basket with local items and spent a good amount of time with us, though also respected our privacy. She educated us about the home, advised us about eating options/local spots to visit and was just a joy to chat with. We spent several days at her home and are anticipating spending longer stays at her home. This home is a rare find. :)
